We arrived in Gatlinburg on a Sunday and tried to eat here on the first day, Unfortunately, the Tea Room is only open 3 days a week (Thurs., Fri. & Sat.). We waited until Thursday (our last day of vacation) to go, only to find out that advance reservations are needed…and you can’t make same day reservations. Very disappointing.
- DebbieJul 13, 2020LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant!
My husband and I discovered this gem of a hidden restaurant 20 years ago on our honeymoon. Owners are fantastic and every time we go it feels like we never left. Don't go here if you can't appreciate a home cooked meal it is NOT fast it isn't meant to be FAST you come her to RELAX, ENJOY the finer foods and TALK to the one you are with. Very romantic setting and english tea setting. Going back again in August and can't wait. We have a big dog and he loves going too!

Did not care for food; soup runny no flavor. Too pricey for the average person. Very uptight atmosphere.

After trying several restaurants in the Gatlinburg area, this hands down was our favorite meal. A casual environment with a nice outdoor patio for our chocolate lab, and we like it so much that we came back two days in a row for lunch! You can tell the food is quality and everything is homemade...best salmon burger we have ever had, and English Cheddar and Ale soup was delish! They brought out some water for our pooch, and she was a happy camper. Definitely recommend!

Food was not worth the price.
Service was below par, slow and inattentive. Complained about a noisy delivery truck driver that left semi running right by dog friendly seating and told us he was still drinking his tea. Soup side dish was awful; runny and greasy asked for a substitute of fruit and that brought out the chef/owner to our table only to insult us, was arrogant and rude as she explained to us how wonderful her soup was and how much pride she had rapped onto it. It was ridiculous. A simple apology would suffice. The are many other choices of where to eat in Gatlinburg, take one! - SarahMore than a year agogood place for dogs and people
We recently visited (9/15) Wild Plum Tea Room for lunch. They gladly accepted our 50 lb. lab on their beautiful deck. They brought her a bowl of water and were very accepting of her. The food here is very good and the grilled cheese sandwich is highly recommended. This restaurant is in the Arts and Craft loop in a shady setting making it comfortable for people and pets.
