The Cantina at Historic Biltmore Village

The Cantina at Historic Biltmore Village is a dog-friendly Mexican restaurant located in Asheville's historic Biltmore Village. The menu features Southwestern/Mexican fare made with fresh ingredients, and their Tequila Bar features locally-made craft beers and a large selection of fine tequilas. There are several vegan and vegetarian options on the menu, too. Dogs are welcome on the covered patio, but be mindful that service may not be available in cooler months or during busy times, so you may need to order your food to go and enjoy outside. Not dog or people friendly

We were really disappointed.. Cantina advertises that they are dog friendly on the patio. However, they fail to mention that there is NO waitstaff for the patio. You must order takeout for the patio.

    Lots of patio seating!

Lots of outdoor seating, both in the sun and in the shade. Very loving & attentive wait staff serving the outdoor patrons. A water bowl was brought to our table for our dog. Good food too. We will be going there again!

    Overwhelmed by their kindness

The Cantina has been the most dog friendly restaurant on our dog-focused road trip. Outdoor seating is ample. You order/pay outside on the covered patio, then pick up a dog bowl/fill with water. This is important if you are traveling solo with a dog. The patio is enormous with plenty of room for your dog to feel comfortable. The kind staff showered him with love and attention.

    Ok

Good guacamole, my husband enjoyed his nachos my tacos were good not great. They were not busy. a staff person handed us one menu and said “ find a seat order here at the bar”, We were the only ones sitting outside.
We had to pay when we ordered.
After our food arrived we never seen another staff person.

Very Fresh Food, Great Service, Definitely Dog Friendly

After a day of driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, we stopped for a late lunch at The Cantina. We had the pineapple shrimp tacos (which were good and the coconut rice was excellent) and an order of the black and blue nachos. We recommend both. Lily, our lab enjoyed the attention she got and loved that there were water bowls available. Great service with incredibly nice staff. Definitely recommend.

    Love The Ambiance

Wonderful place with good food and service. Big terrace overlooking a park that was decorated for Christmas. Many dogs. Ours were happy there with each having their own water bowl

    Great place

My daughter and I had a great meal with our black lab. Waitress brought water for her and the food is always great. The covered patio was nice.

    Fantastic Little Spot

Enjoyed a refreshing margarita with queso and a fried brownie with ice cream. Nice little patio with pups welcome and nice view of the shopping district. Service was a little slow, but not unpleasant.

    Outdoor covered patio

Great mexican food and better yet a covered patio. It was raining the entire time we were here and had to search out places that we could bring our pup.

    Great food!

Went here with the whole family (2 adults, 2 kids and our dog). Great food, big servings and very dog friendly. We sat outside on the patio, which was nice and cool. The waitor brought our dog a bowl of water. I very much recommend this restaurant, both for the food and the atmosphere!

    excellent patio and sweet plantains

A little expensive but it is in Biltmore Village. They have an excellent tortilla soup, sweet plantains are amazing, and many other good menu items. Fairly dog friendly if it isn't raining.
