    Friendly to dogs

Our dog was treated as the king he believes he is. Welcoming staff and he had his own take out bowl. Great seating to relax and enjoy a meal

    Dog approved

My dog had a great time and was loved on by all the staff/our waitress. Immediately after sitting down, our waitress came over with a bowl of water for him. Highly recommend if you are looking for a dog friendly spot and good food.

    Great Spot

if your dog is very reactive this isn’t the spot for you. my dog loved this restaurant and got lots of pets from other customers! the bartender gave us a low cup and water with ice for the dog.

    Fun dog place

We took our Basset Hound, Ernie and sat at one of the tables by the bar. I did bring a bowl for him, and asked for water, which the waitress brought over as soon as I asked. We were there awhile and enjoyed our food and great sunset. Each time we went there, a few dogs were always around. We stopped in without our dog quite a bit and enjoyed a few drinks watching the sunset in the wooden chairs by the bar. We also enjoyed going for the Sunday School mimosa, Bloody Marys, and breakfast. Always a nice place to see the sunset!

    TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

If I could give a 0 star I would! Stopped here for lunch while staying at our Marathon home. After reading the reviews I thought it would be a great time. WOW, WAS I WRONG. We sat down and the waitress Jamie D. greeted us. We ordered our drinks and food. It took what had to be 10-15 minutes to get my blue moon but I wasn’t irritated because I saw the restaurant was getting busy. After finally getting my drink, it took 30 minutes to get our conch fritters and coconut shrimp. (Which is an extremely long time BUT we were patient because we are not the complaining type). Our waitress comes over to tell us that one of our appetizers were taken by another waiter and it would be a few minutes. She brings it out and it’s the “friend conch” and not conch fritters like we ordered. My sister lets our waitress know that it was incorrect (NICELY) and Jamie snapped at her that “this is what you ordered I wrote it down” and went around the table and asked every single one of us which one ordered it wrong. WHAT THE HECK?! Even if you “thought” we ordered it wrong WHICH WE DIDN'T just say “ok no problem I’ll get you another one” SHE STAYS ARGUING WITH MY SISTER WITH SO MUCH ATTITUDE AND STORMS OFF. Then comes back and near damn snaps my dads head off saying “Sorry mam you weren’t the one who ordered it wrong, he was the one who ordered it wrong I wrote it down right here” and legit raises her voice and turns around. We are STUNNED. #1 we were not argumentative or rude in any way and she just WENT OFF. #2 My sisters children were with us and we couldn’t believe someone would react and treat us the way she did. She then spends the next 30-40 minutes completely ignoring us. Not checking on our drinks, food or how anything was. Gives us our bill and walks away. Then comes back and drops the appetizer at the table and walks away after we finished eating our meal and after giving us the bill. After signing the bill she then picks it up and opens it IN FRONT OF US to see if we tipped. Well I only tipped her 10% (which I have never done before)

When leaving my mother went up to her to express how rude she was to us. And we HAVE NEVER done that before she snapped again saying “I am busy I don’t have time to keep going back to your table and that obviously it reflected on her tip” . SHE IGNORED US for 30-40 minutes!!!! What did she want? Didn’t ask if We wanted another drink or even a water! Didn’t ask us if we wanted anything else or a dessert! She spent the next 5 minutes arguing and being so nasty to my mother.

The others waiters and food runners were hustling and we’re just as busy. VERY DISAPPOINTED in this experience and restaurant. Will make sure to spread the word about this.

    Dogs Welcome To Sit Anywhere!

The review that stated that dogs were only welcome on the small sunny deck is not correct. We have visited Lorelei’s multiple times with our 80 lb Chesapeake Bay Retriever and have sat at the bar, at a table at the bar and also by the beach. The service is super friendly and they really cater to your pup! Bowls of water and sweet words! Food is amazing, great happy hour and best of all a frozen key lime pie margarita. Worth the visit just for that!

    Very dog friendly

When we approached the restaurant there was a sign that led us to believe we could not go any further with our dogs - but then we asked the hostess and she said we could sit ANYWHERE - so we chose a spot on the beach right by the water - awesome. It was a great visit up until the food came - a whole bunch of flies followed the server and we had to wave our hands over our plates the whole time while eating. But the food was really delicious - and it is possible this is not a regular thing - and the flies disappeared when the plates were removed. If you time it with sunset you are on the correct side (bayside) to get to see the sunset while dining.

    very pet friendly

I saw the other review which is not true - we sat right next to the order window, undercover and the waitress brought Victoria her own water. Excellent place, excellent service. There was another dog family having breakfast as well.

    Misleading

To say this restaurant is dog friendly is highly misleading. You will notice the only area they allow dogs is on a wooden deck on the edge of the parking lot on your way to the restaurant. No awning, not even an umbrella to provide shade, there's no way a server would even see you if you sat down there. It's on the end of the inlet where the water view ends and the debris collects. So sure, technically your dog can come. But unless you want to sit in the parking lot under the blazing sun across the bridge from the restaurant, we wouldn't suggest it.
