We brought our two large dogs here off season and staff was super accommodating! Honestly pie two might be too frisky and big if it was peak season but it was perfect for a beautiful November day!!

Extremely rude employees and denied service to my service animal. We were coming here to celebrate my daughters birthday and [the staff member] ruined our outing with how he treated us. When provided Ada website on service animals he wanted to argue. My service animal was wearing a labeled vest (not required by Ada), was by my side and not being disruptive. I would encourage this company to educate their employees on service animals and how to treat people with respect.

Taphouse is the perfect spot to bring your dog for dinner! The staff were so kind and loving towards my dog, providing her a water bowl as soon as we sat down and all the compliments. We only waited about 20mins before being seated, and the food and drinks were amazing! Great view too!

Got carry out and was about to relax on the patio with my beagle! She was given water and spoiled with a treat! Super nice staff!!
- MelodySep 15, 2020VERY dog friendly
VERY dog friendly with amazing staff and great food. The staff and management made our visit the first of many to come. They brought us bowls of ice water as soon as we were seated. I ordered some plain grilled chicken for our pup and it was brought to us already cubed and ready to feed him. About 5-6 other dog families showed up after us and we all had a fantastic time interacting!

We called ahead to confirm the dogs are allowed in their main patio area. We were happy to learn that dogs are indeed welcome. The experience here was great: the staff was super welcoming to our dog and even brought out a water bowl. And the food and views are great too. All around, a great experience.

I wanted to eat dinner and bring my dog here during my OC trip last week. So, I called them to make sure they do allow dogs (which I usually do before going anywhere), and they said that if I bring my dog, I’d have to sit in the parking lot area (they had tables set up there). I have seen photos of dogs on the patio, so I do not know why I would have to sit in the parking lot with my dog. This could possibly be due to COVID-19 and the fact that the inside dining area was closed, but if they allow dogs on the patio any other time, they should allow them now. So, if you want to go and sit on the patio by the water with your dog, make sure you call first and see what the rules are.

We loved the wings and the soup here. It was the perfect spot for a fall late afternoon meal with our godpuppy. The staff was friendly and very accommodating to us. Will be back for sure.
- KenOct 28, 2019Dog friendly and great food too!
My wife and I, along with our standard poodle, were in town for a long weekend. There are many dog friendly restaurants in OC, but this was close by our hotel so we thought we'd give it a try. So glad we did! Food was excellent, service was great, nice view of the bay, and our dog loved all the attention he got from the staff and other diners. I would definitely recommend you give 45th St Taphouse a try (with or without your dog)!
- LisaAug 12, 2019Great food and friendly staff
Very dog friendly! Buford was greeted warmly. Many of the staff had to visit with him. View of the bay was great!

It was a little cooler today (off season) but the Taphouse still let us sit outside on their patio with our dogs to eat! Had their signature pretze bites, a couple salads, soup etc. They even brought a bowl of ice water out for our pups! Only thing you have to worry about is sea gulls nearby watching for their chance to steal your food! Also a GREAT spot to catch a sunset! We would definitely go back.

It was or first time visiting Taphouse and they did not disappoint! The loved on our dogs, the sunset view was beautiful and they even brought a water bowl to the table for the dogs! The food was also great and the service was amazing!
- Denys SchubertMore than a year agoGreat nearby place for us, good beer, great outdoor deck for sunsets
We love this place because we can bring the dog and walk here. Great beer but they also have wine too. Their menu has expanded and include some heathy options as well. Live music last night with a great view of fireworks from Fager's Island in celebration of Labor Day.
