Great spot!
Hyatt Place Ocean City OceanfrontDog welcome station in the lobby that had treats and water/bowls for the poochies. Grassy area on one corner of the hotel but also a few grassy spots just a couple of hotels down the boardwalk, which was fine bc we came off season when dogs are allowed on the boardwalk and beach! Plenty of space in the hotel room and we loved the balcony over looking the ocean. Went to an enclosed heated patio at the Longboard Cafe that was dog friendly a few minutes away from the hotel. Also was told about North Side Park which is also a drive away but great for a sunset walk! We will def be back!
Great spot even off-peak
Longboard CafeWe loved being able to make a reservation online for their enclosed outdoor patio (which had heaters) and were able to bring our pup! Drinks and food were good and staff was awesome. Brought over a dog water bowl for us and we had a great time. So nice being able to go out while on vacation and enjoy a meal out with her in tow!
Great time!
Gooch's BeachWe were able to have our dogs off leash before 9am in the summer, and on leash after 5. So many types of dogs of all sizes and everyone had a great time. Including the humans! We will definitely be back!
Great scenic spot to be able to take your pup
Fort Foster ParkWe stopped here this weekend and had a great time. Dogs can go into the water with you most of the beach area. Pretty rocky but ok! $20 to get in and due to COVID you had to buy a pass online before you came and there isn’t great service at the gate so do it before you go. We would def go back!
Great dog friendly hotel!
Port Inn & Suites Kennebunk Ascend Hotel CollectionUpon arrival the hotel gave us a goodie bag that had a water bowl and dog cookies for our pups. Hotel was clean, staff was great. Also gave us a flier for dog friendly beaches, and dog friendly places to eat, and things to do etc. Grassy area to the side of the hotel for the dogs to go to the bathroom. About 15 min drive to Gooch’s beach which is dog friendly in season before 9am and after 5. Off leash ok in the morning which was amazing!! We will def be coming back!
Great place!
The Docksider RestaurantGreat spot right on the water - only certain tables were dog friendly but we had no problem getting one on a Tuesday at lunch. Food was great, service was attentive and quick. Definitely will be back!
Great dog friendly beachside location!
Daddy Mac's Beach GrilleWe were so happy to come across this place on our travels. They allow dogs on their upstairs deck while you eat! It’s beachside so you have an amazing view and food & drinks were great!
45th Street Taphouse
45th St. TaphouseIt was a little cooler today (off season) but the Taphouse still let us sit outside on their patio with our dogs to eat! Had their signature pretze bites, a couple salads, soup etc. They even brought a bowl of ice water out for our pups! Only thing you have to worry about is sea gulls nearby watching for their chance to steal your food! Also a GREAT spot to catch a sunset! We would definitely go back.
Topsail Beach NC
Topsail Beach Dog BeachWe got to the beach (in early April 2019) and saw signs that said ‘dogs only allowed with leash, pick up after them etc.’ We drove south towards Surf City and saw the signs were different there, they said dogs allowed off leash from Oct-May. We hopped out of the car and up over the dunes and had the whole beach to ourselves!
Jupiter Dog beach
Jupiter Dog BeachThis beach was great for our pups to run around and get a little wet! Bring drinking water and possibly an umbrella bc there’s no real shade except across the street. But dogs were all running around and it was so nice to have them be able to do so! GREAT TIME!
Small fenced in area
Petro Travel CenterSo there’s not a ton of space here, just a fenced in area with a garbage and a couple benches, BUT it was better than nothing! Enough room to throw the ball a few times and get some exercise in before hopping back in the car! We were appreciative that this was there for travelers like us!
Great park!
Dog Park at Carolina Pines ParkWe stopped quickly to visit this dog park and the dogs loved it. Plenty of room to run around on wood chips. Only issue was finding the actual dog park parts go past the community center and baseball fields and it’s on your right off the parking lot! Water available for them too which was a nice bonus!
