    Best Dog Beach

This beach was the best dog beach I've been to so far! The place was very well kept, and all the dogs and people seemed very well behaved and respectful of others. This is a beautiful beach where your dog can run off leash. I went in April, and the water was a bit chilly, but it was very comfortable to sit in the fluffy sand. I got lucky in finding a close parking space that day, but I could see parking being an issue if you're not comfortable with parallel parking and don't want to park a long way away. Our day was great though, and we will absolutely go back!

    Best dog beach around

Great dog beach, no parking fee, lots of dogs, off leash and on leash. Less crowded in the AM. The beach itself is pretty large and nice. The water was clear and free from seaweed!

    Beach Day!!

I took my dog Sassy for a beach day and she had sooooo much fun!! I loved that it was off leash and I could go in the water also!! she played with other dogs and swam and played in the sand. plenty of parking, plenty of beach and plenty of water to wash off the dogs after. I have driven and hour and a half just to bring her to THIS beach!!

Two And A Half Miles of Beach Bliss

The beach is easily accessible and you don’t have to pay for parking. The dogs that we have met have always been well supervised. Mac always meets new friends here.

    Best dog day EVER

Found this off leash dog beach from Bring Fido (Thank you!). It was amazing! so many dogs running around and playing! It’s hard to find places that are acceptable for off leash. I think that’s why the beach was super clean….everyone picks up after. I didn’t see any trash or poo on the beach at all. My girls had a great time in the water and playing with other dogs. Obviously bring fresh water and bowl…salt water doesn’t taste too great.

    Best Days Ever!

We took our poodle on 3 different days during a recent visit. Her absolute joy was contagious! She had an amazing time running and playing with other dogs. Great people and well behaved dogs. The beach is clean.
The only caution was the number of Portuguese man o' war washed up on the beach - watch your paws!

One of very few off leash beaches in FL

2.5 miles. Just about very block there is a staircase with spigot, shower, and a bench. Some shade in late afternoon / evening on the beach. Not much else. Restrooms at one end / at the park. Free parking.

    Amazing beach!

We just got back from our awesome beach trip to Jupiter. We had such a great time and Jupiter was such a nice area with awesome state parks and public beach access! Stayed at Jonathan Dickinson State Park and drove to the off-leash dog beach every morning and evening. It was never crowded at those times and plenty of street parking available. I don’t think it was even crowded during the day! Everyone was so nice and friendly and all the dogs were great. Highly recommend taking the pups with you to dinner at Papichulo and Carmine’s pizza. Both had amazing food and have dog friendly porches! We loved Papichulo so much we went twice! Another note is we hung out on the intercoastal side of Coral Cove Park one day and there is a sign that I think says no dogs, but there were lots of dogs there anyway. So, if you wanted to take your furriend to the calm intercoastal just make sure they are well behaved. I think the overlying theme was, don’t let your dogs be destructive of the beautiful natural habitats or disturb any wildlife. There are lots of turtle nests on the beach but the girl recording nests was telling me they are too far down for dogs to reach them by digging, but still I never saw any dogs disturbing the nests which was great. We loved Jupiter and will be back!!

    We had so much fun!!

Great beach! Lots of room to run and play in the waves. We walked about a mile down and back and our fur baby loved every minute of it. One of the best ones I’ve been to. Lots of well behaved dogs there. We will be back soon!!

Perfect! It’s what you are looking for!

it’s what every dog owner wants. gorgeous beach. off leash. nice people. you are not jammed one on top of another. loved it. like every place you get the dopey owners (can’t blame the dogs) who are just plain clueless. but enough space to move on. we had a fantastic day. they have a shower area so you can rinse off. the parking is free. really done well.

    Finally A Great Dog Beach

2.5 miles of dog friendly off-leash beach means you can be free to let your dog run and play. My pup still struggles with recalls so we maintained a long lead 90% of the time and saw a few other people do the same. On a packed weekend it felt good to give my furbaby a chance to shine off leash for a few minutes and gain that success walking along the water. Only thing about this beach is the vast amount of broken shells to walk on doesn’t get better until you’re quite close to the water. Absolutely love that this dog beach is dog friendly all the time and it’s easy to locate. Free parking is another win, bring plenty of water for you and the pup as I didn’t see close by fresh water anywhere. I also didn’t see any flags warning about rip currents so keep an eye online for the potential, there can be some rough breaks at this beach.

Great beach for dogs and humans!

my dog is afraid of the waves so she watched me anxiously as I went briefly into the water. She did enjoy it and said hello to some of the other dogs. it was very hot so next time I will set up an umbrella so we both have some shade. a very nice beach and free parking!

    Best Dog beach

I lived in Juno and this is the best dog beach you could ask for. You can let your dog run free, no leash. The owners are responsible, unlike some places. It’s the largest dog beach I’ve been to. You can walk for an hour or more going down the beach with your dog. Juno beach usually isn’t too crowded, so it’s also a great beach in general.

Calling ALL DOG LOVERS-A MUST GO!!!!

Exceptionally clean, Bluepearl beaches overflowing with beautiful shells & clear vibrant turquoise ocean waves that our boxer puppies enjoyed splashing into with us! Furry friends of Jupiter beach as well as the vast majority of the locals welcomed us as if we were family! We definitely will return time and again on future family holidays.

Best dog beach in the state!!

We’ve traveled to several different dog beaches around the state from St. Augustine to Tampa to Key West and everywhere in between. Jupiter Beach is by far the best in the state! Plenty of doggy bags to pick up your pup’s poop, well behaved dogs, free parking, and amazing views; what’s not to love?

The dog beach is not fenced off from the rest of the shoreline so be sure to keep an eye out for the signs on the beach that let you know where the dog portion ends. There are not any water fountains near the area where we normally set up camp so be sure to bring a water bottle for your pupper when they tire out.

    Truly off leash dog beach

Yay! Finally a beach where there is enough room for lots of dogs to play and swim- off leash - and have their own space. 2 miles !!!!! of beautiful wide beach gently sloping into the ocean.
Worth 5+ stars. Thank you Jupiter!

    Jupiter Dog beach

This beach was great for our pups to run around and get a little wet! Bring drinking water and possibly an umbrella bc there’s no real shade except across the street. But dogs were all running around and it was so nice to have them be able to do so! GREAT TIME!

    Good off leash location

2.5 miles of leash-free dog friendly beach. It was tough to find a spot with space for my pup initially (it’s around the 4th of july though) but after walking about 1/2 mile I found a wide enough spot for her to chase a ball in the surf. Lots of dogs and most were well-voice controlled. There were poop bags and trash cans at exits. I recommend going when it’s cool out (morning or evening) so the sand won’t get too hot for your dog’s paws or your feet.

    Loved this beach!

We came here with our two boxers and loved it! One of the best beaches we have been to. The dog area is clearly marked, people and their dogs seemed friendly, and they had dog bags and garbage pails close by. We went 3 days in a row and the 3rd day was a little too crowded for our dogs (it was friday of a holiday weekend) but wednesday and thursday were quiet and perfect days!

    Doggie heaven

Parking was indeed easy to find and free.

I kept mine on a leash most time, until he gets used to that. Still, he enjoyed meeting all the dogs and running around!

    Bad dog

Saw a dog with no owner pee on someone trowel. Not good. The same dog we had a unleashed dog run around us Spaying us with sand. The owner was there and very intimidating towards us when we reacted. I love watching the dogs but some owners will change people's thinking about Beach use.

    Crowds were the only drawback

Gorgeous beach, great shells, lots of space for dogs. The only problem (resulting in 4 bones) is that it was super crowded and many were non-dog-lovers. I kept hearing people comment on their surprise at the amount of dogs--it is a dog beach! I think they entered from the closest entrance and walked down beach without seeing the signs. Because there were coolers and friendly snacking people, cooper wanted to meet everyone--we had to reign him in sometimes. I will go back again in the off-season.

Perfect for Picnic or Romp Day

This is an awesome beach, highly recommended. We try to keep our dog swimming after the ball at all times. Since it's an off leash beach we keep very close watch on him, because he occasionally walks across someone's towel or shakes the water off on someone - he doesn't know he is being inconsiderate (even though I told him when he does that he should at least offer a towel, haha). Once he's good and tired I let him interact with other dogs his own size, when dogs arrive they are usually overstimulated so it's not a good idea to immediately socialize one's dog here. But 99.9% of the dog owners who frequent are super responsible. Every once in a blue moon there is a dog that likes to mix it up, so we just make sure our dog stays in the water swimming after his ball.

    I agree, best dog beach!

Our dogs loved this beach - running off leash, playing in the water, interacting with other dogs and dog-friendly people. Our vacation was so much more fun because we could bring our dogs along. Thank you town of Jupiter for having one of the few dog-friendly beaches on the east coast of FL. We traveled 40 min each day to go to this beach and it was well worthwhile. All dogs we encountered were well behaved and dog owners were responsible, picking up after their pets and keeping them on a leash if dog was not well socialized. Highly recommended!

    Great Place!

This beach is wonderful! There is a lot of free parking. They have grills, bathrooms, and places to sit in the shade at the park. They also have a shower. People were friendly. We went on a weekday morning and there were pups running around. Very clean. No problems. Bring a lot of water and a bowl for your pup! Our pups drank more in the hour that we were there than they normally do at the dog park or just playing outside. I suggest going in the early morning when the sand isn't hot. Great place! Will definitely be back!!

Best Dog Day at the Beach - Ever

Read all the great reviews and decided to take a trip to the beach! Great area, convenient street parking just feet from the ocean. Not crowded and my dog's introduction to the ocean was fabulous. We all had fun. Thanks to the locals for this great, clean beach. Thanks for all the detailed reviews. Jupiter Beach is a laid back friendly beach - the kind I loved as a child. Great people with well behaved dogs. Worth the 2 1/2 hour drive from New Smyrna Beach to enjoy the sun and surf with my happy Border Collie.

    Awesome Off-Leash Beach

We drive up every so often with the pooch, he learned to swim here. Free parking, poopie bags provided by Friends of Jupiter Beach. Bathrooms clean 90% of the time. No poopies on the beach, dog owners super responsible. Great place to play with rafts, paddleboards, fetch. To be avoided during major holidays - gets too busy and non-dog-lovers show up.

Our favorite dog beach by far. There's a HUGE parking lot with nice bathrooms, covered picnic areas and even grills. If your coming from far there is a publix a block away where you can buy food to grill. You can make an awesome day of it highly recommend ????

Rocky and I love love love this beach! We visit about once a week and we always have a great time! There are plenty to other dogs for him to run around with but, too many that it's crazy! The beach is clean the shower just off the beach at cross over 25 is perfect for washing off the sand. Bring some water for you pup if you are planing on staying awhile.

    very nice

We have visited each of the last 3 days and each time have been a fun experience. The beach was very busy as it was the weekend, lots of dogs but also lots of people without dogs, everyone seemed to coexist pretty seamlessly.
As a bonus there were showers and doggie bags at every entrance to the beach.
After being here I wonder why there can't be more dog friendly beaches.

    four paws up!?

Thanks to a wonderful lady named Gloria in Del Ray FL car wash this morning. After playing with our pups and chatting to pass the time, we learned of this great beach just 40 min away. The beach was full of great dogs, all beautifully well behaved (as much as possible for such a fun spot). The people were all laid back and we had a great time socializing with other pet owners as our dogs all blissfully became bouncy beach bums. Even on an early morning weekday there were more than enough dogs playing. Great parking for free, off street showers to get rid of sandy fur and public bathroom s to change in. We also went to a dog friendly restaurant named quarterdecks only 5 min away. We defiant will come back.

    Wow!

This is a very nice beach area, and one of very few that allows dogs. There was plenty of free off-road parking. The beach was very clean, and the other people with their dogs were very friendly and respectful. We met several dogs off-leash...all well-behaved. Just be careful about taking your dogs during the heat of the day. It's not an incredibly long walk from the parking to the waterfront, but the sand in between the two can get VERY hot, and dog paws could easily get burned.
