We rented a kayak and paddled down to the Haulover Sandbar. High tide was only about a foot that day (make sure you check the tides when you go) and our dog was able to stand up on the sandbar. She loved running around and playing with everyone and there were a few other dogs there!

We rented kayaks and paddled down the creek during low tide and the water was 6 inches to 3 feet deep. There are sandy spots to stop at along the way and the creek connects to the intracoastal near Dania Beach Pier. Our dog loved it!!
