  We ordered our dinner from the Maya Restaurant on our first night staying at The Westin. We were very disappointed as the food was overpriced and the portions were small. If you are staying at the Westin you will likely want to try them out, but trust me, go elsewhere. There are plenty of other restaurants within walking distance that were much better.

  The Westin hotel is an extremely dog-friendly place to stay so it's our go-to with the pups, and the menu at the Maya looked good so we came in for happy hour. The patio is spacious (but can get very windy, FYI). The happy hour menu with guacamole and tacos was just ok, but the dinner menu was fantastic - so glad we gave THAT a try! Amazing braised pork and the shrimp and caramelized huarache were great dishes! Highly recommend the food but service is spotty on the patio. (We had to go to the bar to pay.)
