Nestles inside a bookstore, Porter Books and Breads also has a pet-friendly outdoor picnic table. Bread, biscotti and more are baked in house and the menu skews towards sandwiches and salads. The sandwiches are named after famous writers, like the Twain, made with pimento cheese, and the Dumas with ham and melted Brie. The cafe also carries cold-brew coffee and a hot coffee bar.
