The staff went out of their way to accommodate us so we can have dinner with our pups. Good food too!

I can see why everyone has given it 5 stars. We went on a weekend in summer, and it was busy, but we didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes or so. We sat at the end of the covered seating, so there was shade, but fewer tables nearby for the dog to wander near. The food was excellent, friendly staff, and the lake views gorgeous. Would definitely go there again. They provided a dog water bowl on request. Also it is a curvy little road to get there, but only a few miles from interstate.

Super dog friendly. He got served ice water before our order was taken...lol. Loved it. He loved the attention he received. Menu is great and food really tasty. Beautiful scenery right on the water away from the craziness of town. Been there twice so far and each visit was great. Next time I’m traveling in that area for sure I’ll be back.

big dog friendly - dogs can only sit at veterinary tables but I think it’s just the ones outside under
the tent which makes sense. Good food, nice staff - roughy here out water. beautifully landscaped yard. - AllieJul 21, 2020Great place!
Great spot right on the water - only certain tables were dog friendly but we had no problem getting one on a Tuesday at lunch. Food was great, service was attentive and quick. Definitely will be back!
- ChristineJul 20, 2020Picturesque!
Charming lakeside restaurant. Was so relaxing to sit by the water as the sun set and eat dinner. They were so welcoming to us and our dog. The menu selections were fabulous-they have a good mix of standards and creative menu options. The drinks were great also. They have several docks at the site so you can pull up your boat and they can serve you right on your boat.

Stopped here for lunch on a sleepy October Wednesday afternoon, after nothing appealed to us in the nearby resort town of Lake George Village.
Docksider occupies a lovely spot on Glen Lake just south of Lake George. A mile or so off the beaten path but what a find! Directly on the lake, LOTS of outdoor seating at real tables (not picnic tables), under a roof with roll down curtains. Very friendly staff welcomed us and our 12 month Springer Spaniel, bringing a bowl of water for him along with our menus. We were all welcome to stroll the beautiful manicured lawn while we waited for our food. The seasonal decorations and abundant flowering plantings were clearly someone’s labor of love. And then the food arrived... my husband was not disappointed in his ongoing quest for the perfect Tuna Melt. I had a “Vermonster” - a current special - which quite possibly was the best sandwich I have ever had!!
I’d give this 15 bones if I had the option: 5 for dog-appeal, 5 for a lovely location and 5 more for the food alone!! - AmberJul 14, 2019Great view!
Dogs allowed at specific tables outdoors. The food was great. Mixed drinks were great too. They brought out some water for our pub too!
