We've been going to Spring House for years (well before the Hazel St location) and we're excited to bring our pup on his first family getaway. We were disappointed to learn that we had to sit on the "doggy patio" and not the regular patio. The dog patio was a very narrow, dingy patio on the side of the building. The tables were dirty and all food and drink was ordered through a tiny window. They have a container of water and plastic cups (for humans and dogs) that was warm.
While the staff was very pleasant and we enjoyed our food and drinks, you couldn't help but feel quarantined. The set up definitely didn't not feel like it was actually dog friendly.

Really likes that they had a menu for dogs. Food and drinks we had were very good. Only downside is that you don’t get waited on. You order and pick up your food from a takeout window even though some of the tables are right at the garage door opened to the main dining room. We would go back.

The dog patio is a narrow deck on the side of the building overlooking the parking lot. Every table was filthy and they provide a spray bottle of clear liquid that smells like water and a roll of industrial brown towels that do not absorb anything to clean the table yourself. There is an empty water dispenser and dirty bowls and a stack of plastic cups. I asked three employees to fill the water and nobody did I asked for three glasses of water and was given one. You have to ring the bell and wait a long time to get service and everything is just brought to the window, so you're juggling your dog, getting your own food and drinks and cleaning your table. I ordered an appetizer and side of fries (the only vegetarian options without cheese, I didn't trust them to modify an order) my husband ordered a hamburger without mayo and onions. Mine was fine, nothing great, but good. My husband's came out with everything on it. I took it back and they brought it back with the lettuce, tomato and onions taken off, but a ton of mayonnaise still on it and still tasting like onion (he is allergic) and it wasn't cooked properly. He ended up eating my fries and we skipped having anything else. Or check was about $55 and we both left hungry. The beer is served in plastic cups that are definitely not a pint. We had a two hour drive home and I got sick to my stomach on the way home and still don't feel well the next day.

Excellent place to bring your fur baby on a nice day. There is an entire deck dedicated just got us. The beer and ciders are delicious and also serve tasty food.

Had a wonderful time--loved the doggie deck and Valerie was lovely! , she took very good care of us. DELICIOUS food and one of the best seasonal beers I've ever had. Can't wait to come back.

- AndreaJul 20, 2021Decidedly NOT dog family friendly
Small dingy side patio is set aside for dog families. Tables all dirty which we had to clear ourselves. Ring a bell that doesn't work for service. Pry open a window and order terrible food. Listen to terrible live music. Get charged the same as full service patrons inside and on the front porch. Avoid at all costs.

This brewery has a cute little side patio just for the pups with ample amounts of water bowls, and a treat jar. It's self serve but still a fun experience and they have a great selection of sours. I would definitely go back.

Spring house has a special dog friendly patio. They provide dog bowls and treats.. We liked all the beers we tried in our flights. Definitely a spot to visit when in Lancaster

We were seated immediately at one of the tables on the Doggy Deck. There were maybe 10 tables available with water dishes. There is no table service, you have to go up to a little window and ring a doorbell to get someones attention.
The servers are all very nice and accommodating. The food and drinks came out promptly. I didn't really like the flavors so much but we enjoyed the space and atmosphere. If we are in the area I will definitely come again.

I’m not sure if they’ve always wanted reservations or whether it’s a COVID thing, but we made a reservation and went for dinner with our two dogs. We had ribs, Mac and Cheese, and baked beans. The food was good, not great, but the stout I had was excellent!
The dog patio doesn’t have table service, you order at a window, but the process was quick and easy, and the food came quickly.
There are several stainless steel water bowls with what looked like recently freshened water, and our dogs enjoyed the bites of rib meat and the attention from other dog owners.
The overall experience was enjoyable, and we’d definitely go again when we’re in the area.
