Eager to please

Mona Lisa's Gelato & Cafe

We had lunch here with our pups. Small outdoor patio, water bowls for the pups, the food was fair, but the gelato was wonderful. The owner noticed we were not particularly enjoying our food however and took it off our bill. We will definitely be back.

Outdoor seating, brewery in the same building

White Duck Taco Shop

This place allows dogs, but only outside on the patio. It is also in the same building as teenage brewery. So if it’s nice outside you can grab an outdoor table with your friends and pups, but make sure you have at least one person who can stay at the table with the dog while the others go in to get the beer and food. They have a huge fire pit on the patio and several tables. I’d say they tolerate dogs well. And they are located a short walk from the downtown founders park were you can play with you pup.

Where are the dog friendly tables?

Tupelo Honey Cafe

So this place has picnic tables not located near the dining area that they call pet friendly. They are not comfortable and about 8 feet below the regular dining area, basically in the parking lot. It’s not really welcoming if we are being honest. The food is quite good but as far as being dog friendly it ranks low compared to some other awesome places in town.

Limited sitting on the side walk

Main Street Pizza

This place has good food, but their outdoor seating where you can sit with your pup is limited and directly on the sidewalk downtown. If you’re bar hoping on a warm night grabbing a quick drink and snack works but I’m not sure how well lunch time would work out. And the girl that served us seemed confused when I asked for a bowl of water ...🙄

Great stop on the way home from the park

Sonic Drive-In

They have an outdoor patio and we stop on the way home from the park sometimes to grab an ice cream cone. Our pups love it and the staff is always super friendly with our dogs

Would not let my brothers dog in

Whiskey Kitchen at Tennessee Hills Brewstillery

This place claims to be dog friendly, but we were there recently for a brief period of time because they would not allow my brothers 30lb well behaved dog to come inside. It was freezing out and the girl working the bar told us we could leave her outside on the patio. Also expect to pay 5$ or more for your beer with little variety. We will not be going back anytime soon.
