When I started planning our trip to the Poconos I did some research on dog-friendly establishments, as we take our dog most places. Piggy's came up on BringFido as having outside tables that permitted dogs. Friday evening after dinner, we stopped at the sister ice cream shop (they share a courtyard of picnic tables) and enjoyed ice cream as a family. Sunday (August 2, 2026) we stopped for breakfast on our way out of town. When I went inside to let them know we had a dog and would like to order food for consumption on the picnic tables, the hostess appeared flustered and annoyed. She said the tables may be wet because of the rain the night prior/early morning. I said that wasn’t a problem I brought towels to wipe them just in case. She said I don’t know if they will have a server go outside. I said not a problem. I’m happy to make my order to-go and not need a server if we can use the tables to eat. She disappeared and came back to let me know they would not permit me to make a to-go order and use their tables.

We left and we went to Nick’s Lakehouse Restaurant for a breakfast buffet. Nick’s is where we ate Friday evening, and they truly are a dog-friendly establishment!

We travel with our dog a lot. I utilize Bring Fido regularly. This is the first time I’ve been turned away from a place that is listed on it with positive reviews. Perhaps it was the person’s mood at that moment of that day and the weather. But I do not recommend unless you’re prepared to be dismissed and turned away.

We went twice during our long-weekend stay in the Poconos. Friday evening we enjoyed the live music while dining. The waitress brought our dog a bowl of water, service was good and food was average (but the music, view and vibe made it 5 out of 5).

We returned on Sunday for the breakfast/brunch buffet (after being refused service at Piggy's - see that review). It was much quieter and had quite a lot of dogs there enjoying brunch with their families!

We ate here after our son's soccer game today. Given the chilly weather, we were the only folks utilizing the patio. But we were thankful for the option given our dog was with us! The food was good (they have some unique options for a brewery menu). We would return.

We took our Irish Setter there for lunch between soccer tournament games. We were seated on the outer edge (which would have been our preference anyway when dining with a large dog who needs space), and the hostess brought a bowl of water for him. The food was excellent, and the outdoor environment was relaxing and enjoyable. Price was comparable to similar restaurants. We will definitely dine here again!

We've stopped here several times throughout the years with our previous Irish Setter and visited again June 2025 with our current Setter. It is a great place to grab lunch as a family while awaiting check-in, as the entire family (4 legs and all) are welcome. The team always offers a bowl of water, and there is a dog menu!

We eat here several times a year with our dog. The food is fantastic (we've never had something we didn't like), the staff is always friendly and our dog loves being included in the family outing!

They were amazing to our Irish Setter (brought him a water bowl) and the food was good. As another review said there is seating along the front and side. Just go inside and let them know you plan to eat outside. Service is quick when they know you are there!
