I was worried it would be like other trains I've ridden that were cramped and crowded, but this train had plenty of space where I didn't have to worry about my dog getting too close to others and bothering them. There's also a little break at the halfway point where you and the pup can get out and stretch your legs. The conductor loved dogs and pet my pup and made her feel welcome. We both had a blast!

Very dog friendly. They have a menu for your dog so they can get a treat, too. My quesadilla was delicious and my pup enjoyed the chicken. The only drawback is the list of what's on tap is only on a board inside - they have no printed copies. Since you can't take your dog inside, if you are by yourself you can't see the list of what's on tap and the server was not helpful at all with that.

Their standard practice is to allow dogs outdoors on the patio only, but they made an exception to allow my dog inside since it was raining and the restaurant was fairly empty. I was extra careful to keep her under the table and out of everyone’s way. Great food, good local brews, and great service from the staff. Wonderful place.

Great kayak trip with the pup. There's lots of sandbars so you can pull up your kayak or canoe to let your dog stretch their legs, take a potty break, and splash in the water. Transportation to and from the river was part of the fun - my dog loved riding in a school bus with all the windows down!
