We had such a great time here with our dogs. We parked at the second entry point which has a much shorter walk to the beach than the first entry point does. We set up on the beach and the dogs had a blast playing in the gentle surf. The tide went out as we were sitting there, so we got to enjoy the sand bar which is about 50ft off shore. Dogs have to be leashed, which we appreciated. They have a dog wash station at the entry/exit points. Can’t wait to bring our dogs back here!

Great spot for some delicious beers and yummy food. They welcomed our dogs with a fresh bowl of water and treats!

We stayed at Hickory Point for the weekend with our dogs. The site was awesome and had a dog park, as well as plenty of areas to walk our furry friends around. We enjoyed watching the sunset with our dogs right on the water. We have already booked to come back here. Be aware that we encountered a ton of buffo toads during our stay here - it rained the first night, which I’m sure contributed to them being out, but we were surprised at how many there were.
