Terrible flies
John the GreekWe wanted some good Greek food and this place allowed dogs in the patio. Never again! We could barely eat with all the swarming flies. Food wasn’t good either. Service personnel were nice but definitely not worth the food and aggravation.

Italian rest stop
Italian Garden RestaurantMami and Papi brought me to eat at the Italian garden. Good outdoor patio for me. They gave me a bowl of ice water also! Food was ok. A little too much cream on the Fettuccine Alfredo. Pepperoni from Papi’s pizza was good.

Pup friendly
River Rose TavernGreat place for lunch with your baby. We had a pulled pork sandwich and shaved ribeye tacos. Very good. Leela got a pup platter. It was hamburger meat with veggies and a pup cup. Great drinks. Great service! Leisure atmosphere. We will come back with our baby.

Dog friendly
Greek Marinastaff very friendly. Greek food was great. Very relaxed atmosphere with a bit of a water view depending on the table. Will visit again!

Schnitzel!
Krause's CafeDelicious schnitzel! Mami had schnitzel with lemon caper sauce. Pop had schnitzel with mushroom sauce. We had a schnitzel that was so good! Pop tried a beer flight of heffe weizen beers and he was super happy with the choices. Mami had a cocktail and told us it had rum and coconut that was also yummy. The server was super friendly and brought us a bowl of cold water. For dessert we got a taste of the apple streudel and ice cream. Lots of friendly pups here. You can eat outside in the covered area under fans and listen to music (when there’s a band) OR you can eat in the open beer hall. They also told us that on Saturday there is a farmer’s market from 9-1. We’ll have to check that out soon. We’ll definitely come back for more schnitzel! Belle and Leela

Burgers and ale
The Hoppy MonkMami and Pop tried this place and it was ok. Hamburgers were ok. Fries were good. Pop had a good weizen beer and Mami had a cocktail. We got some water and got to taste the burgers. Spot was bit warm and the waitress wasn’t too happy to come out to serve us in the heat. Manager was super friendly so we recommend trying this place on a cooler day. The servers might be happier. Lattes
Crosswalk Coffehouse & CafeMami and Pop found another great spot to eat. We tried Mami’s croissant of egg, cheese, and bacon. Delicious! Pop had a spinach burrito with egg, cheese, and sausage. We got to try the lemon lavender muffin. Also good. And a bit of the banana bread. Our favorite was the bacon! Mami and Pop liked the lattes - one was Nutella, the other rosemary with vanilla. We got water right away and rested on the porch people watching. Food goes quick and it is a self service location. Check it out for your next breakfast. Belle and Leela

Bacon!
The River HouseMami and Pop brought us to another location. Our second day in TX from VA. BringFido app led Mami to this spot. We loved the location. Very relaxing and our super friendly server brought us cool water. We also got to try some delicious bacon! Mami had the quiche, soup and salad. She said it was very good. Pop had a sandwich. We had a fan on us the whole time and really enjoyed our late lunch. Belle and Leela

Great hamburgers!
Muck & Fuss Craft Beer and Burger BarMami and Pop brought us to this great spot! Our server was Ryan. Super friendly and got us lots of water. We also got to taste the hamburgers. Mami and Pop also liked the hamburgers. Pop really liked beer #12. We got to sit on the porch and people watch. Come try this spot! Belle and Leela
