One of my least favorite

We travel with our dogs so are always on the lookout for dog parks and this is one of the worst. Dirty, rocky, no trash bins or poop bags. no wonder there is dog poop all over. Parking is on the street unless you are walking up Centennial Park and then it is an uphill walk and crossing a busy street. Although it is larger this reminded me of truck stop “dog parks”. I’m only giving it 2 bones because of its size and it does have water (on a muddy patch of concrete).

Mud pit in each field

Wiggly Field Dog Park at Voice of America MetroPark

I would love to give this park a better review. There is a north and south paddock that are very large with shaded tables in each. There is water and agility equipment as well. However both paddocks each have big mud pits the size kiddie pools. It would only take a few wheelbarrows of dirt or gravel to fill them in but that have been there for years. I have mentioned this to the maintenance people when I see them but nothing has been done and they are so large that they almost never dry up even after several days with no rain. If they would just fix these mud pits this park would be a 4 in my opinion. (the last bit of the road to park is gravel and full of potholes)
