I hope I don’t regret making this post before we check out. The great: rooms are renovated nicely - clean, updated, spacious. You’ll see other dogs on property and have very quick easy access to a dog friendly beach. Great spa. The good: onsite facilities like the gym and multiple eateries, free and easy parking. The not so good: they have a policy that they can ask you to remove your dog from the premises if they receive complaints, with no prior warning. Common areas in the building tend to accumulate water even if it hasn’t rained so just be prepared when walking around. The price, even in the offseason is steep. So far we’re happy with our choice for this resort and hoping that doesn’t change.

The good: free parking, recently renovated, close to restaurants and a short ways to downtown, has an on-site restaurant. You can sense it’s a dog-friendly property. Relatively quiet during our brief stay, and has access to green space outside for the pup.
The “ok”: they have dog bowls and a bed but I had to ask for it. It’s obvious it’s a renovated property in that some things don’t look or feel entirely new. Check-in/out doesn’t give you the warm and fuzzy experience of a chain hotel.
I’m not thrilled but also not disappointed with our stay, especially given the price point. But next time I might pick another hotel that gave me more “warm and fuzzy” vibes. The pictures online definitely look better than what you’ll see and feel in person. And the service was just ok, it’s weird that the hotel check-in and restaurant receptionist is the same person and at the same counter.
