The Afton Station Cottage is a gem! It is pet friendly and has absolutely everything you need. Our dog was sad to leave as we were. We hope to come back and stay for much longer. You are so close to the start of the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Skyline Drive. Waynesboro is close with groceries etc. The owners have taken the time and money to ensure you will have a wonderful stay. And if you love trains, you will be beside yourself with where this cottage is. Google the Crozet Railroad Tunnel... the cottage is within walking distance to the parking lot. We had absolute quiet with an occasional train and cannot wait to return! We stayed May 9-11, 2025.
