Such a happy place!

Forrest E. Hull Park

Beautiful park. The large dog section is larger than average and the small dog area is small (big enough). Large dog park was half “sandy” (solid ground with a couple of inches sand on top) and half grass. More dogs than I was comfortable with (large park had 25-30 on a Monday night) but she needed exercise after a road trip. There is a huge on-leash grassy section in the middle where kids were running, one couple was having a picnic, families were playing, many well behaved dogs were off-leash in the leashed area but they were wonderful. Also had a nice playground area. The whole park was such a happy place.

Our Favorite!

Bark Springs Park

This was our regular park for the first year of my pup’s life before we moved. Most people here are regulars and we/our dogs became great friends. There is always toys/balls available, water (gets turned off during winter so bring your own), lots of trees for pets to explore. Most importantly: the other owners are very informed of dog park etiquette and safety, so I felt safer around their dogs than at other parks where owners didn’t pay attention. It was perfect for us and we will miss it!

Good park.

Mary Williamson Dog Park

Had the bare necessities (water was operational, space to run, fence was in good order, nothing unsafe) and that is all we need.

Beautiful park

MacArthur Unleashed Dog Park

This is my favorite dog park I’ve been to: very pretty, green, all the amenities you expect, a few rock piles (so much more attractive than those old, dirty plastic obstacle toys that many parks use). This will differ for everyone, but I (young female alone) personally felt uncomfortable with the location: surrounded with construction, a homeless man sleeping about 40ft away in the main park, and eventually I decided to leave because too many people would come and park and not get out of their vehicles. The interstate is directly behind the park, which is convenient, but takes away some of the peacefulness. We still had a blast and I would come back under certain circumstances.
