We didn’t read the description and we’re pleasantly surprised to find out this campground is perfect for horses. We stayed in one of the few tent sites with our dogs and the staff was very friendly. We live in the country so our dogs can be a little “Barky” - but they got used to people walking around and the trucks going in and out. Owners have their own dogs who walk around with them and the place is very dog friendly. we used the hoses by the barn and to fill up their waters and there are trails near by for walks. The tent sites are next to a section of stalls and the bathrooms (which is very clean) so you can expect people and dogs to be walking by. Great spot close to Custer!
