The Allegro Royal Sonesta Hotel Chicago Loop

Spacious rooms considering most standard rooms in Chicago are rather small. Nice, clean hotel. Beautiful dog food and water bowls in room along with a bed. The elevators were only moderate slow. 2/3 worked in Jan 2019. We were on floor 5. Lots of dogs. Hotel will call you if there is a disturbance from leaving dog during the day in the room. You have 30 mins to return. We didn’t have any issues. I’ll post a photo of their pet policy. All staff friendly.

Days Inn by Wyndham Abilene

We arrived at 3:30am. The place was nearly completely full. The night manager waived the pet fee and gave us the room they had that was closest to the grass. Room was clean. Coffee maker was broken but no biggie. They had coffee downstairs and a Starbucks near by. WiFi was spotty.
