Sad exterior
Bend Inn & SuitesThe concrete block building and sea of dirty asphalt parking lot are enough to make you cry. Both need a good power washing. Not a speck of landscaping except around the pool. Reception informed me that there was no breakfast of any sort available. Okay, no problem. Neither were there any toiletries and the bedspread screamed red satin bordello. But on the positive side: clean interior, vinyl plank flooring (yes!) comfortable bed, close to lots of markets and conveniences.
Perfect stay!
Baymont by Wyndham Yakima RiverfrontThis motel deserves six bones. The pet friendly rooms are on the first floor with sliding glass doors onto a nice green lawn with a view of a river, as others have mentioned. Perfect for a morning walk for both you and Fido. The room was spotlessly clean and cool (very summer hot outside!). Another bone for the fact it was quite reasonably priced.
Beautiful grounds and view
Coast Hillcrest HotelVery pet friendly staff. Very nice rooms. Excellent in house restaurant and patio seating for you and your dog.
Great location
Waterfront InnThe management was decidedly neutral about being pet friendly. Our room was very clean, despite being carpeted there weren’t any off stains or off smells. There is a big green lawn park right across the street. And then the lake beach (no dogs on the sand). BUT, this motel is one of three in a row under the same management so you have to check-in two motels away - no problem, except there aren’t any signs telling you what to do or where to go. You can also use any of the features (without your dog!) at any of the motels, but good luck finding them! The whole place has a kind of spring break Ft. Lauderdale feeling - at least on a summer weekend. Not for everyone.
