Great Location for Long Roadtrip

This was our second hotel of our long 16 hour drive home. To be honest, booking at Comfort Inn I didn’t have high expectations. Reina (our shar pei/pittie rescue) was treated SO well!! The moment we entered the hotel she was welcomed with love from multiple employees. Immediately she was being offered dog treats and pets. We were even given a goodie bag that had a pet sheet, another large milk bone treat and 2 doggie bags. The bed was truly comfy! Reina was more nervous at this hotel because we could hear movement in the halls and she is protective of us. But that’s to be expected. Breakfast in the morning, grassy areas outside. Close to In-N-Out! This hotel is my favorite so far simply because of the staff and their love for Reina!

Huge Suites for Reasonable Price!

I have to admit that I was nervous going into our first “pet friendly” hotel especially with my beautiful rescue that happens to be mixed with Shar Pei and pittie. We ended up booking a pet friendly suite and it was awesome! It had a little kitchen and the room was huge! While we weren’t on the first floor we were right next to the stairs that led outside.

The reason I’m leaving 4 stars is because there wasn’t a treat or doggie bag given when we checked in and no comments on how cute our dog is or even a hello to her. Might seem silly but for somewhere “pet friendly” I would expect a little interaction. Beautiful room, super comfy bed! Breakfast in the morning and plenty of grassy areas outside.

Rae’s Fav!

We took the jeep out, got to go drive on the beach and explore some cool driftwood and watch our dog smile the whole time! We were lucky to find an area of the beach that wasn’t crowded for a dog that can be nervous around other dogs. It was awesome! Made a whole day out of it :)
