We enjoyed our sandwich’s at Nodo’s close to the Univ. of Iowa. The outdoor area is small but has shade and water bowls for your fur kid. Food was good and there was plenty of people watching while we had lunch.

The Hampton Inn in Madison was a great place to stay with our fur kid. Our room was close to the outside door when we needed to use the outdoor facilities. They had poop bags and lots of grass. The poop area was also clean. I love it when everyone cleans up after their dogs. I highly recommend this place!

We ate here based on it being dog friendly. The outside area was nice with shade and pretty plants. Our dog was able to lay by the table. What was surprising was the barbecue was wonderful. We highly recommend the smoked Reuben sandwich which would feed two people. They also brew their own very tasty beer.

We had a big corner room with great view of the lake. The area right in front of the lake had green grass for dogs to do their business. My dog enjoyed walking up and down the lake front listening to the geese and seagulls. The only down side was the little dog owners did not pick up their dogs poop. We were able to eat breakfast outside with our medium sized fur ball which was nice.
