Hurricane impact
Amargosa Opera HouseIf you own a dog, you should know that the remnants of a hurricane hit this place hard last August and the dried mud was prevalent on the grounds, therefore not leaving any decent place for a dog to even pee or poop much less run or play. Other unacceptable things were: No coffee in the morning. Although they said they would have coffee available, the coffee maker in the lobby (none in the room) had “broken“ on it when I went out to fetch coffee. Also. I’m sure they don’t have many cold nights there but we couldn’t get the room temperature over 60 degrees. However the bed was very comfortable and the thermal comforter was warm. Besides that, the place was definitely early west. BTW, yes it was opened even though there was no indication when we arrived.

A must!
El Pinto Restaurant & CantinaWe couldn’t list all the positive things about this place. Especially to explain how large and comfortable the enclosed porch was. It was sealed from the weather and well heated (on the cold day we were there). The food was excellent and the staff very attentive and pleasant. A much larger space than the pictures show. Our pup was also thrilled at the accommodations.

Frank S. Ortiz Dog Parkit is a shame about its history but a wonderful way to keep it sacred and unscathed by development.

Dog friendly
Best Western InnSuites Tucson Foothills Hotel & SuitesThe staff was very dog friendly and the room was nice, clean and comfortable. However, there was really no green space (that we found) for the dog. Not a complaint really since everything else was good but always a plus if it’s there.

Most Friendly
Hannah Flanagan's Pub and Eaterywithout even touting how good the food is, as a resident of Hendersonville, I have to commend them as being the most dog friendly restaurant in town!
