Very dog friendly! Ample space on the outside covered porch.

And most importantly, the food was top shelf! Well prepared and served. Excellent value for upscale food…

We totally enjoyed our experience! Since it was 90 degrees out, it was great that we were able to bring our border collie in with us to dine at a table in the bar, The food was also review worthy! I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. We chose their brisket burger and Ruben and the corned beef was home cooked and delicious.

Your dog can romp in the water without any fear. The water is fairly shallow for a long way out. Perfect for playing fetch!

It all sounded good from the write up so we tried it. (Picture attached).
We were hoping the covered patio would be available but as you can see from the picture, we were relegated to a picnic table off of the covered porch. The menu was limited but my wife decided to order the $18 hamburger. I debated for a while (due to the price of $23) but then ordered the fish and chips, asking for extra crispy fries. The actual fish was good and the burger patty was obviously good meat but the fries came out soggy. To boot, my wife paid the bill as I used the bathroom, but when we were in the car driving away I noticed they charged $26 for the fish & chips, not the $23 on the menu. Although my wife enjoyed her burger, I felt the $50+ bill was too much for the meal.

It was 90 degrees outside and they let us sit inside with our border collie! The food was very good but being able to sit inside with our pet considering how hot it was outside was worth 5 (or more stars) all by itself!

Very dog friendly and the food had a unique variety of sandwiches and salads. We had the Tuna Fillet and shrimp taco’s and they were both excellent!!

Very dog friendly first and foremost! Even allowed us to be inside (with a well behaved dog).
The food was also very good, especially if you like chicken fried steak.
We recommend this place and would do it again!

One of the few places that allows your dog inside with you! Great Chicken sandwich too!

If you own a dog, you should know that the remnants of a hurricane hit this place hard last August and the dried mud was prevalent on the grounds, therefore not leaving any decent place for a dog to even pee or poop much less run or play. Other unacceptable things were: No coffee in the morning. Although they said they would have coffee available, the coffee maker in the lobby (none in the room) had “broken“ on it when I went out to fetch coffee. Also. I’m sure they don’t have many cold nights there but we couldn’t get the room temperature over 60 degrees. However the bed was very comfortable and the thermal comforter was warm. Besides that, the place was definitely early west. BTW, yes it was opened even though there was no indication when we arrived.

We couldn’t list all the positive things about this place. Especially to explain how large and comfortable the enclosed porch was. It was sealed from the weather and well heated (on the cold day we were there). The food was excellent and the staff very attentive and pleasant. A much larger space than the pictures show. Our pup was also thrilled at the accommodations.

it is a shame about its history but a wonderful way to keep it sacred and unscathed by development.
A dog’s paradise

The staff was very dog friendly and the room was nice, clean and comfortable. However, there was really no green space (that we found) for the dog. Not a complaint really since everything else was good but always a plus if it’s there.

Would recommend it to anyone traveling with a dog.

without even touting how good the food is, as a resident of Hendersonville, I have to commend them as being the most dog friendly restaurant in town!
