great place but lots of burrs in the grass, stick to the paved and gravel areas. Can see some of the museum from outside, dogs can’t go in. Nice long walk, my dog and I enjoyed it.

Stayed here in November and it was great, no crowds, no smells, no garbage….just a good time. Beach was clean, only a few people on the entire stretch. We even saw a pod of dolphins not far from shore. It was magical for me, my dog didn’t care, she was having a grand ole time running and digging. campground is nice and people working there are even nicer. Close to everything. I will be back!
I love this place and am so glad it’s dog friendly, thank you! Lovely plantings and paths, pretty sculptures, benches and gazebos. Parking across the street. Mardi and I had a wonderful time wandering around. We went in November so not crowded at all and almost everyone there had a dog too. Very enjoyable.

Gorgeous waterfront historic site, plenty to see and loads of space to wander around. My dog loved it as much as I did. A bit pricey to get in considering I couldn’t go inside any buildings but I was already there…
