I was in doubt reading some of the reviews but decided to make it a stop in our roadtrip from Chicago with our lab.
It went really well. The area for unleashed dogs is large, with bench’s, shadow and water pots.
Good community also. We were there for about 30 min and there were at least 10 other families coming in and out. Will come back when in town.

We had a great experience with our lab in the Kinzie Hotel. The staff is very dog friendly and the pet relief area by the hotel is a plus! Room was comfortable and very clean. Great shower, spacious bedroom and both the included breakfast and the 5-7pm happy hour are the cherry on the cake. Location could not be better and we will certainly go back!

We were enjoying the dog beach at South Higgins Lake with our lab and decided to do late lunch at Northshore Lounge.
We asked for the area for dogs, sat there and waited for full 15 min without any service. waiters would pass by and just ignore our table. We left. Being dog friendly but with a terrible service is not enough.

Easy check in, good accommodations, at ground floor with easy access to the grassy area for our dog. Hotel was noisy by night, clearly some guests enjoying a lot their Friday evening.
