1 44 pound Standard Poodle

Great location but building and grounds are tired and unloved. We were put in an ADA room with a cracked shower pan and broken blind. Carpet is worn out and musty, dog run desperately needed to be picked up.

We and our canine child were all treated like royalty. Given a first rate room which was beautifully appointed and quiet. Great bed, we all slept beautifully. And being about to have our dog join us in the lobby for breakfast and dinner was priceless. Outstanding staff, location, experience, location, etc.

Good location for visiting family, plus clean and quiet location!

This is no longer a nice, clean, hotel. Room was tired, tv in awkward position, tub tap leaked profusely. Damage to bathroom door covered with a metal plate. Room down the hall had had the door kicked in. Landscaping is dying and full of weeds--just another sign that no one seems to care! Will find another location next trip through town!

Good rooms and space, location can make getting in and out a challenge, nice friendly staff, limited grounds but a professional park is nearby with plenty of grassy walking!

Every staff person was super nice and accommodating. Good breakfast, clean and new rooms, great mattress, very welcoming lobby spaces. Brielle enjoyed walks in the area and several pup friendly dining within a few miles.

Afraid this we'll regarded location has closed.

The McCoy is aesthetically beautiful but misses the mark when it comes to the details of standard guest room amenities and good service. As many have noted, the floors are always dirty--the rugs are filthy. Don't go barefoot! You'd expect after "dirty floors' coming up in multiple reviews that they'd do something about it, but over two years there has been no improvement (we stayed here in 2022).
No nightstand on one side of the bed, one extension cord for multiple fixtures, no way to turn off the main light from the bed. The dishes are covered with water stains, the rod for the shower curtain is hung too far inside the tub so your elbows fight with it, the metal chairs in the rooms don't have gliders on them (pull the chair out without picking it up and the racket will certainly wake the neighbors), etc.
Clearly no designer of these rooms or owner has ever actually spent the night in one, or if they have, they just don't care. Staff are chatty--with each other--and do the basics, but can't deal with a simple question like "I'm not able to get into the room with the ice?" This resulted in a blank stare and no offer of assistance. But take the dog out for a morning walk while she smells the gravel near the display car, and suddenly, staff can run out and wag their finger at you to point out where the dog run artificial grass is (which the dog had already made proper use of at the beginning of the walk).
They seem unable to deal with anything outside of the standard script. Staff talked about issues concerning another customer, very out loud, for all of us picking up breakfast to overhear. There is no graciousness in the service.

Had a king suite at back of building. Building is set back from two major roads with other buildings in between so any location is quieter than most hotels. Room was clean, though older. Dishes and utensils in kitchen were very clean including the appliances and cabinets. Floors were clean and well vacuumed, finishes were in good condition--paint, wallpaper, etc. Towels and sheets were clean, mark free and plentiful. Good mattress and decent pillows. Several great places to store luggage and other items. Staff were friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast with cereal, eggs, sausages, potatoes, waffles, yogurt etc. Overall a great location and good value. Dog area was a good sized expanse of natural grass with bags and receptacle, in middle of courtyard so no need to walk across the parking lot, but dogs were allowed to walk all around the building if they preferred.

Outside area is small but the dog was very welcome, with three others at other tables. Food was very good and staff were very attentive but not intrusive. We and the dog had a great evening.

Great view and outside space. Good dog menu. Food was average, and staff was ordinary.

Quiet room with great views, nice restaurant and tons of outside space to wander through the grass! Our dog was welcomed with open arms.

Good people food, pleasant and attentive staff, large outside space with heaters and that block closed to vehicles. Great chicken breast for the dog which she loved!

The food is outstanding, atmosphere charming, staff friendly and attentive. Outside space covered and heated. Our dog was welcomed and admired.
