Hotel Alice is at Pine Knolls Shore which is quieter and very dog friendly. It's across the street from the beach, with a direct boardwalk to the beach. It's Super Dog Friendly, inexpensive, a very reasonable pet fee and you can change dates if the weather is bad. Management and Staff are Great.

I REALLY APPRECIATE the IHG chain, which is dog friendly and doesn't overcharge you to bring a dog. This hotel is quite inexpensive. Not the case for Blowing Rock and it is MUCH more convenient for hiking trails to stay in BR vs. Boone. It's not the fanciest hotel, but it's highly serviceable and price, location, and free breakfast that your pup might enjoy some of can't be beat.

Excellent price; low ($20) pet fee, right on the ocean, convenient location, and free continental breakfast.
