Horrible experience!

Margaritaville Resort Palm Springs

Place didn't look like photos. What is more upsetting is the price am paying per night for the discomfort I am experiencing. The 2 rooms located to the right of me smoke all the time even though it's a no smoking hotel. I am super sensitive to cigarette smell as it gives me a headache. I called the front desk. I had to call several times as the phone just rings and rings with no answer. When the front desk finally answers they don't seem to care. Security arrived like 15 minutes after my call of course when the person is no longer smoking or there. They must catch the person in the act in order for something to be done. Security saw evidence, cigarette buds, but said they can't do anything about it since the person is no longer there smoking.

I explained all of this to the front desk and all they said was sorry. I requested to be moved to a different room and they said they didn't have one. Also, the room does not have a screen door on the sliding glass door so I can't even get fresh air because my doggies want to dash outside.

As if that wasn't enough, my room 6108 is located across the facility were they do laundry and house keeping keeps their supplies and trolleys. So at 5am housekeeping starts working and you hear all the conversations and the noise of the wheels of the cart/trolley very loud and clear not allowing me and my family to sleep. You also smell the detergent smell from the laundry. Oh, I also ordered room service for myself and my family and they don't even bring any condiments. They forgot the syrup for the pancakes. I had to call to have them bring it 10 minutes later. I am extremely upset and disappointed in this place, my experience and the reviews of this place.
