Closed for renovations
Broadway Historic Tavernjust fyi the Tavern is closed for 4-6 weeks for renovations but no indication of dates. Maybe next time.

broken gate
Love's Travel StopJuly 2022-dog park had a broken gate so no way to turn dogs loose without fear they would escape. Thankfully there is a grassy tree line around half of the truck stop so you can walk the dogs but be cautious of the debris (trash everywhere & irresponsible dog owners leaving dog droppings).

spacious, shady but hilly
Club Canine Bark Parkplenty of space to run but over half of it is on a hill. Love the water stations and shade, separated small & large areas. Needed the grass cut. They even have 2 enclosed areas to bathe the dogs. We were camping in Cleveland so definitely worth the 20 minute drive, we went twice.

dog friendly hotel but lacking green space
La Quinta by Wyndham Memphis Airport GracelandStayed 2 nights with my 2 German Shepherds. The room was adequate size & amazingly smelled fresh considering it was carpeted & dog friendly. They do charge an additional $20 pet fee. There was a build up of mildew stains in the ceiling tile in the bathroom but good water pressure and hot water at the ready. The hotel was quiet overall considering it was right off the highway and the bed was comfortable. There is a Mexican restaurant next door that was adamantly anti-dog with signs posted to not let dogs on their property. The only complaint is that the 3 foot wide strip of grass around the gated hotel parking lot is not sufficient space for walking large dogs to do their business. The hotel did provide multiple baggie stations which was nice. We took our girls to Overton Bark park about 10 minutes away so they could run loose for awhile and also visited the Shelby Farms park which offered a HUGE off leash area (definitely a must visit & only 20 minutes away). Breakfast was the usual continental fair and essentially the only place the dogs were not allowed.

dog friendly, clean & relaxing hotel
Days Inn by Wyndham Tiftonlove how accommodating this hotel is to its canine companions and the room does NOT even have odors or wear and tear indicative of a pet friendly establishment. They even provide doggy potty area with poop bag dispensary. Hotel is easy access on & off I-75 but very quiet. Beds wonderfully comfortable, good wi-fi, good hot breakfast and clean bathrooms with hot showers with good water pressure. Perfectly located for many local attractions and restaurants. Will definitely return.
