Perfect for our doggo!
Government Canyon State Natural AreaDogs are allowed in the front country area. We walked the Savannah loop — pretty flat & easy to walk. They have dog waste stations through out the trail as well. Perfect for what we wanted.
You get what you pay for
Super 8 by Wyndham Las Cruces/White Sands AreaOverall, I would probably stay here again. There was a low pet fee of $10. Unfortunately, the floors had carpet, but overall it was clean! There wasn’t any convenient pet relief areas, but New Mexico doesn’t really have grass anyways so your doggo will have to be somewhat adaptable. Our room was in an area that is locked from the outside so you have to scan your room key to unlock, which is nice for safety!
A good bang for your buck
Atrium InnPet fee was $20, but the room itself was pretty cheap so it made up for it! Spacious room, seemed to have newer furniture & mattress had a comfy topper. The room has a back sliding door that leads to the atrium. The lights by our bed didn’t work & the bathroom didn’t have a fan, but it was clean & had the essentials. There were also good pet relief areas.
Great potential, but horrible execution
Hotel McCoy - Art Coffee Beer WineThe art as this place is awesome & it has a cool vibe, but that’s it. The pet relief area was a small turf area that smelt HORRID. The bed was rock hard, a dirty diaper was left in the trash bin, and a Hershey’s kiss was on the floor under the bed (luckily I saw it before my dog got to it). Very disappointed with our stay.
