Hello! My name is Megan Newton and I have two Corgis, Gizmo and Stormy. I work as the Special Projects Coordinator for Pet Jets, a company that sets up private and shared jet charters. We help families fly with their pets by their side in the cabin of a private jet!
I connected with Pet Jets in the summer of 2022 when my husband received military orders for Hawaii. We moved from Ohio to Oahu! Gizmo and Stormy road-tripped from Ohio to California before jumping on a private jet to fly to their new home in Hawaii. We are excited to share our journey with you all!

A Very Dog-Friendly Park
Gateway Arch National ParkGateway Arch National Park was the first park I took Gizmo and Stormy to on our road trip this past summer. It was a great place to walk them with minimal crowds and great photo opportunities.

Pet-Friendly Gateway Arch Views
Hyatt Regency Saint Louis at the ArchThe Hyatt at the Arch was Gizmo and Stormy's first hotel stay ever. It was excellent! Our room had views of the Arch and a dog bed was provided in the room. There was a dog park right across from the hotel which was the perfect place to take them outside when we arrived late at night. The hotel was within walking distance of the park and the Arch which meant we could easily walk the dogs around the area. If I was going to the Gateway Arch again with my dogs I would certainly stay here again! All of the staff were very friendly to my dogs and I. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to the Arch!

San Diego Bay Views
Sheraton San Diego Hotel & MarinaThe Sheraton was a great hotel for my dogs and I to stay at in San Diego. The hotel was right across from the bay which had a sidewalk where I could walk my dogs. I could also walk my dogs around the marina area and the hotel. The dogs also enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with the ocean views. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay near the San Diego airport.
