La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Selma/Smithfield I-95Room was great. Staff was great with our dog. They do allow large dogs. Iron, hair dryer, tiny coffee pot, and fridge in the room. Free continental breakfast, outdoor pool, nice gym (ask it’s hidden), computer work station in lobby, huge lobby, dog exercise areas around the hotel. No smoking.

Dogs not allowed any more
Heidi's Two Wheel CafeVisited on 1-20-2023 at 3:20pm After a 5 hour drive we selected this spot as a lunch spot due to good reviews on this site. We we were turned away and told “we did not allow pets and we don’t serve outside.” Even though they do have an out door patio with picnic tables. They may or one time but that is no longer true. We left and drove 11 miles to Skylines cafe and had an amazing lunch their patio and our Butterscotch was spoiled by the friendly staff.

Excellent
Skylines CafeWent here after being turned away at another restaurant we had found on this site that is no longer pet friendly. The waitress immediately brought water for our Butterscotch. The food was AMAZING and our pet was totally spoiled by our waitress Stacy, who was awesome. She even shared pics of her beloved pet with us as we swapped rescue stories. This will defiantly be a stop next time we are in Smithfield. Thanks Stacy and staff for the wonderful time and enjoyable meal.
