We Will Be Back!

A last minute family event in Tahoe prompted our search for lodging for 4 days. Hotel Azure won out for its excellent location and rooms available with bath TUBS & king beds. Staff was top notch every time we met. We were given a room w/a view of the lake & surprised that the highway noise was NOT the issue we feared. The hot tub & pool was clean & terrific. We were also happy to be given a room overlooking the pool at the corner of a building near a stairway where we could at least exit with our FIDO with minimal contact with other guests.

We appreciated how the property was stocked w/doggie bags & disposal cans in several spots AND that there was a variety of WALKS adjacent to the hotel property that we could take, especially around the city library. Three out of four days we hopped in the car & went to the nearby Bijou Park on Al Tahoe Blvd where our Fido enjoyed the secure but large fenced in dog park and Agility areas. Many friendly people and dogs were met!

We had meals at two of the hotel's nearby recommended places within walking distance - both great (Freshies & Elements) and took advantage of other services nearby - a really central but LOW KEY location as far as we were concerned. Our King Main Room was well laid out with two sink/mirror spaces, clean and comfortable. The only exception was a mattress & pillows way too soft (we like firm support) and surprised there was no bar in the bathtub enclosure to hold onto for getting in & out of the tub. Still, we were really happy with the place and it was a nice fit for our Fido too.

So Glad to have Found this GEM

We came here 3 times out of 4 days on our recent visit to Tahoe for breakfast/brunch, the last time being with a large group of 15 people & two dogs outside. To start - Coffees to GO - Excellent & fun! JUST check out their MENU! No need to drive to Starbucks. Full breakfast was also good - The STAFF was kind, welcoming and so professional; the Menu itself has its own unique twist of delicious fun and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Dogs were greeted and welcomed and the large area outside the restaurant is really set up in a terrific way. Even in February it was nice enough to sit outside and enjoy our time together. Thanks again to the ELEMENTS employees for a memorable and delicious week.

FORGET THE REST STOPS; STOP HERE INSTEAD

We make the drive from CA to AZ with our Border Collie a few times a year. Noticed on the Bring Fido website, Kingman has a dog park & so glad we took the time to get off the road & visit. This park is a hidden gem for travelers on old Route 66.

Green lawns with picnic benches all around, clean restrooms and clear signage for areas where dogs ARE and Are Not allowed. Our dog was able to run in a secured location for big dogs & happy to visit with little guys in the adjacent run for Small Dogs through the chain link fence. We humans were able to have a restful snack break & watch the trains go by … even a fun photo opp with Rte 66 background. We did not encounter issues similar to reviews from past years - just nice people. BRAVO to the City of Kingman for this terrific stopping place. I wish more towns would do this. Why go to a dried out Rest Stop along the freeway where the dog can’t really exercise when we can stop, pick up lunch and come here? We will be back!

Welcome Suprise

Chose this place based on its location (convenient to personal business) and secure immediate neighborhood. It’s also right next to the freeway & as expected, they gave us a room facing it. That particular noise helped us sleep but beware; it’s not for everyone. We appreciated our room being located at the end of the building, convenient to stairway/elevator, parking & of course a small dog walking space (that is shared with smokers.) The room itself was clean, nicely laid out & our dog didn’t seem seem to pick up the scents of any previous accidents as he has on other occasions. The breakfast was a disappointment but overall staff very nice.

Got Lucky!

A family emergency prompted a trip with our 10 month old Border Collie & our adult daughter recommended BringFido for dependable lodging. There was a large area on the backside of the property protected by a large concrete wall where he could be walked safely on leash away from traffic. We also liked the sliding glass door option in our lower floor room to get our bags in and out, plus avoiding the puppy excitement of running into another guest in the hallway. The place isn't fancy but the room clean, the staff very nice and we took turns for the complimentary breakfast so that the dog was never alone. We liked it enough that we stayed there again on our return home and if further travel needed along that route would book there again.
