Traveling with our travel partner Finn…he’s a Wire Haired Dachshund

While in the area we stopped to check this place out. Walked in with our dog to place our order and was immediately informed we had to take him to the seating area outside. The beer was fine. The bartender seemed to be having a bad day as he was not the friendliest.

The patio, at some point recently, had a fire and they weren’t quite done with it (they hadn’t painted or finished “decorating”) but opened it for us. The service was great! Water was brought out for our little guy. The food was delivered quickly and was really good.

Good beer, dog friendly, cool seating. We came on a Tuesday so they had beer specials and a Plant Swap going on. Dogs welcomed inside or there is seating outside.

While in the area we stopped in for a wine tasting. People with dogs can only sit in one area (the large patio) but they did immediately bring a bowl of water. The food was good but none of us were impressed with the wine (they did tell us that it’s open fermented & has no sugar or sulfites- so I guess that’s what made the difference). The road up to the winery is very steep and parking is slightly confusing. Ok overall

We had a great visit to White Squirrel. Everyone was super welcoming to us and our pup. We’ll be back while we’re in the area. (Dogs are allowed inside or there is great seating outside)

The patio is (mostly) covered and there are fans and heaters for your comfort depending on the season. The beer was good and so was the food. Staff was great. We’d definitely go back.

We were allowed to sit inside with our little guy and the staff were all great with him. They brought water, homemade treats and loved all over him. The food and beer were really good too. My husband said the Cuban sandwich was the best he’s ever had.

In the area for a month so we stopped for a beer and lunch. The dog friendly outdoor patio had heaters that they turned on for us and they brought our pup some water. The staff was super friendly.

Our server immediately brought our dog water and pointed out their dog menu. We ordered the chicken and rice for him and he licked the pan clean. Highly recommend.

They have a very friendly, laid back atmosphere. Dogs are allowed inside or there is patio seating outside. They serve a small variety of pizza and the beer was good.
Greater and seated right away on their outside patio. Our dog was given a large bowl of water and loved on. I had their Cesar wrap which was sooo good. My husband had their special the Cuban sandwich and said it was really good too.

Lots of variety on the menu…good options for vegetarian too. Outdoor tent seating so we weren’t in the cool air.

Brought our pup to grab lunch and a beverage. They have daily specials, bbq, specialty drinks and a great atmosphere. They brought a large bowl of cold water for our pup and loved on him. By the time we left, everyone knew his name. They have a spacious outdoor seating area with cornhole boards if you fancy a game.

We brought our little guy one afternoon and he was welcomed both inside and outside seating areas. water and bowl was available at the bar and everyone was super friendly and welcoming of our little guy.

My husband and I are in town for the month and stopped in to check this place out in hopes they are dog friendly because we didn’t see them on this app, which we use everywhere we go. The new owner, Rob and his assistant Chloe are super welcoming. We were able to bring our pup, Finn, inside with us and he was greeted as warmly as we were. I got approval from Rob to add his business to this app so others can enjoy the “Cheers” like vibe we have been enjoying.

Pam was awesome. She was informative and had a great sense of humor. She brought our pup a bowl of water and loved on him. We had their 2 person charcuterie board and it was perfect. We will be back while we are in the area.

We took a chance that this was a dog friendly establishment and it turns out they were and they were so kind to our Finn. They made sure there was fresh water on the patio, gave our little guy (2) treats and stopped to love on him. Dogs are welcome inside but there is also covered or open outdoor seating with misters to combat the heat in the summer.

This is now Perch Brewing as of about 4 months ago (so beginning’ish of 2024). Our dog was allowed inside with us. They brought him a water bowl. The beer was good and they had impossible burger substitutes available. The chairs at the bar were super comfortable!

We love this park/trail. Took out WHD here for the first time and he loved it as well. Well maintained and clear walking trails. There is also a dog park and a play area/park for the kiddos.

We’re staying in the area and after driving by this place several times, we finally stopped. It’s a great space and has plenty of room outside to sit with your furry friend. The pizza was good and there was lots of choices for drinks from wine, beer, seltzers and non-alcoholic drinks. Stop in the next time you’re in the area.

The lower outdoor deck is heated so it’s good for visiting during colder days. The upper deck was closed for the season. Beer was decent.

Indoor patio with a fireplace so we were nice and toasty while we dined. Our pup got some love from their staff and an offer for a water bowl. It’s hard to find warm dog friendly restaurants around here in the winter so we really appreciated this one!!! The food was yummy and their beer selection is outstanding.

There are 3 different establishments connected to this name all on the same block. The Hounds Tale Restaurant, Event/Party Room and the Hounds Tale Barkery. You can sit outside with your dog at the restaurant or you can sit outside or take your pup inside at the Barkery (which is a good option for the winter months). You can still order food and eat at the Barkery as well as shop for your pup. Cool place!

Our son wanted to share this restaurant with us for brunch. It was hard to see from their website pictures if their outdoor seating was covered but we took a chance. In case you’re wondering, there is covered and open air seating and the staff were very dog friendly. The food was good. Our pup loved the bacon and potatoes. Worth the drive!

While visiting the area, my husband and I took our pup to have a beer and check this place out. John was awesome, easy to talk to and full of info. We weren’t able to eat here because there was a private event so the restaurant was closed. The staff (and other patrons) were great with our dog. Will definitely be back.

The covered patio was dog friendly and they had bowls for water. The service was “meh” at best. We were given our check before we were done eating and w/o asking for it like we were being pushed out the door.

We went to Nookies for dinner. We assumed that since we had our dog with us we would be sitting on the patio so I sent my husband in to let them know and he was informed that as long as our dog could behave and stay under the table, he was welcome to come inside. That made us extremely happy for a couple of reasons; 1) It was hot & 2) restaurants that you can bring your dog in (w/o them being service dogs) are rare and we truly appreciate it!! The staff loved him and we all enjoyed an air conditioned dinner.

We met up with some friends we haven’t seen in 18 years since we are passing through. We were welcomed, along with our little guy, with friendly, open arms. As always, the servers and other customers spoiled our guy with loving attention. The waiter, Gavin, brought a bowl of cool water for our little guy. There were fans blowing on the patio so it kept flies away and kept us all cool. Great spot for dinner with Fido.

We visited this brewery (they are hosts with Harvest Host- so we pulled our travel trailer into their parking lot to spend the night) and found that it’s a hidden gem! The staff is amazing and our dog was welcome in their tiki garden and inside. The beer and food was really good. We will definitely come back if we’re in the area again!

Dog friendly only on the patio so check the weather before you go. The staff was great with our little guy. They offer doggie pizzas too. We opted for the peanut butter and apple.

The restaurant is very dog friendly but the patio where they are allowed is small. They provided my dog with a bowl of water without asking. He was grateful.
