dog park - castle edition
Sands Point Preserve$15 to get in was way annoyingly expensive. Don’t get me wrong, the grounds were BEAUTIFUL & it was a nice day for us. However, although dogs are allowed on the beach; they aren’t wanted on the beach. & there is beautiful are behind one of those houses that would be fantastic for photos of your dog and/or with the family. but of course, dogs are prohibited! the trails are nice & maintained, & they do have a tiny dog park area. sectioned off for both small & large dogs
first time
Avalon Nature Preservethis was a nice spot to visit on a sunday afternoon! we didn’t do the trails due to the high tick rate, but still enjoyed our time there. layed by the little beach to cool off before heading home
beautiful spot!
Bailey Arboretumour first time here!! so happy at least one of the arboretum’s on the island allow dogs. we stuck mostly near the front & looked at beautiful structures. will definitely return in the colder months to walk the trails. avoided them this time due to high tick rates
nostalgia
Shrine of Our Lady of the Islandi used to come here all the time with my grandparents; but haven’t been here in years! decided to take a mental health day & return with my furbaby negan. still as beautiful as i remember, but not sure if i’ll be bringing him back anytime soon. cars were speeds through, which was making us nervous. & there is only one garbage to dispose of poop bags. yes i am aware that this isn’t a dog park, but it is a place to enjoy as a family.
mom’s job!
Francesco's Restaurant & Pizzeriamom took me to work tonight! both customers & staff were very kind to me. we sat outside & greeted everyone as they walked past
