We love traveling with our dog, Lola! Weekend getaways with our pup are the best - especially when we can find dog-friendly locations!

Tasty Treats
Three Dog Bakery LubbockWe got a “Gotcha Day” treat for our girl, and she loved it! They have softer items in their bakery case, which is nice for a sensitive mouth dog.
Great Farmers Market
Wolfforth Farmers MarketThe Wolfforth Farmers Market is amazing - especially since it’s a small town market! So many great vendors and food stalls. They are extremely pet friendly (with some pet supply vendors), and you’ll see a ton of furry friends with their owners! They have an area with water bowls and grass for the pups.
JoAnn Loves Dogs!
JOANN Fabric and CraftsThe only craft store in Lubbock that allows dogs! They love seeing our Lola and are always so kind to her. I love that I can pick up all my crafting supplies with my girl in tow!
Great Park!
Lubbock ArboretumTook a walk around the arboretum with our pup, and she loved all the new sniffs! Clearly marked gravel paths and tons of grass. The local Master Gardeners all have small plots they take care of with different types of flowers and vegetables.
Great Trails
Cedar Ridge Nature PreserveWe stopped on a Saturday morning with our dog. Great trails with good elevation. There were a lot of dogs on leashes, but we didn’t have trouble with any of them! The park offers a spot for donations as an admission fee to keep everything updated.
Great Breakfast!
Tribal All Day CafeWe sat on the side patio with our pup! The breakfast was awesome and their coffee was so good! They were so kind to us and our pup. While we were there, three other couples showed up with their dogs - extremely dog-friendly area!
Delicious!
Burger PunkThe burgers and fries were excellent, and they had some beers available from local breweries. We sat outside on the turf lawn with our pup, and she loved all the extra attention from passersby!
Delicious Food!
The Red CupThis vegan/vegetarian restaurant was delicious, and they even had eggs on request for my husband! We sat on the front porch with our pup, and it was perfect! Be prepared to meet Coco, the resident rooster that runs the front patio! He avoided our table and pup (he’s apparently used to dogs) and we had no issues!
So Many Paths to Explore
Myriad Botanical GardensThere were so many paths for our pup to explore! We ran up and down the steps, walked around the whole conservatory, watched the koi fish, and let her off leash in the pet park! You can take your dog everywhere except inside the conservatory and gift shop.
