Great Spot!
Ruth Rafferty Peyton Dog ParkGood stop for dogs needing to stretch their legs. Fully fenced w/ area for small dogs or those needing their own space. Shaded area for humans. Water fountains not working—bring your own water! 10/10 would visit again!
Great!
Embassy Suites CharlestonGreat hotel for humans and dogs. Really filling breakfast available, happy staff -- everyone seemed to love dogs, and clean facility! Perfect location for walking around. It was $75 for the stay for our dogs. 10/10 would stay again!
GREAT!
The Freefolk Brewery TaproomWe absolutely love it here—great beer & food…and dogs are welcomed inside! Always a must-visit location. 10/10!

Black Sheep Burrito & BrewsGreat spot for dogs & humans! We loved the beer (Bad Shepherd Brewing located inside) and the food. Dogs stay outside on a covered patio. Water bowls provided. 10/10
Great!!
Bahnhof WVrsthaus & BiergartenExcellent stop for both dogs & humans! Great food and lots of beer on tap! Dogs must stay outside on the patio. It has good cover for shade—we are here on a 90°+ day and it feels great in the shade. Waitress even brought both dogs a bowl of water & some ice to munch! 10/10 recommend!
Great Stop!
Fitzsimmons Family Dog Park at Tunnel Green Recreation ComplexGreat place for dogs to run & meet new friends! Very nicely maintained park—large trees for shade, benches under the trees, and water for the dogs. The road to get there is *narrow* and luckily we didn’t meet another car—go slow!!
Great Spot!
Brew KeepersWe had a great visit to Brew Keepers with our dogs! Dogs must stay outside on the porch, but there’s plenty of space—and a fire pit! Good beer & fun atmosphere! 10/10!
LOVED!
Salty Paws PittsburghThis is an absolute gem of a place! Workers were amazing & super helpful. This is 100% a dog-centered spot. Ice cream with toppings, treats, and accessories galore! We loved it here. A very helpful worker even tried to help us coax our scared boy back outside to the loud street (he got pretty scared). Overall excellent experience & highly suggest: 10/10!
Good Stop!
The Foundry Table & TapWe had a good experience at The Foundry. Lots of beer choices, good outdoor seating, and staff brought each of our dogs their own bowl of water with ice included—they loved the ice on this 90°+ day! Outdoor only for dogs. No coverage if rain, but mostly shaded for sun (here at 4pm). Right beside the river for a grassy walk & potty. Lost a “bone” for no rain cover and no solid shade. Otherwise, great. Would come back!
Great Spot!
Voodoo Brewing Co. - Pittsburgh PubThis is a great spot for dogs! When we got there, it was 90°+ and all available seats were in the Sun. the staff graciously opened another section for us that was shaded. The outdoor seats all have cover—and the brick ground is temperature-cool for dogs. We were given a bowl of water for each dog & food service. Beer & service both great! 10/10!
GREAT!
Southern Tier Brewing CompanyThis is an excellent spot for dogs. Outdoor seating only, most tables are really shaded—but not covered if it rains. Very close to other spots that are also dog friendly (Hyatt North Shore & Voodoo Brewing). Waitress brought our dogs a bowl of water & our dogs loved meeting new friends! food & beer—both delicious! 10/10
Great for Dogs!
Bridge Brew WorksWe’ve been to Bridge Brew Works several times with our two dogs. All seating is outdoors—with a large covered area & picnic tables and also a fire pit (uncovered). They get food trucks regularly. Best to find them on Facebook to see what is happening that day.
