The trail head is easy to miss, but it is definitely worth the stop. The trail is mostly flat with options to turn off onto longer routes. To get closer to the water, you have to go down some steep stone steps that could be difficult for people or dogs with mobility issues. My dog loved climbing on the rocks and investigating the tide pools. There were a few other people and dogs there, but it wasn't at all crowded like many other hikes in the area.

This path follows the road overlooking the cliffs and ocean.
Pros: The walk is mostly flat apart from stairs at the beginning and it is gravel, so it should be physically easy for most dogs. There are many places along the route where you can safely go further out on the cliffs.
Cons: The path is very narrow, and it was very crowded while we were there (people and dogs), so this may not be the best choice for more reactive dogs. The proximity to the road especially at the beginning means you need to keep your dog close.
Overall, this is a great walk along the water and my dog loved it. The only downside was the crowd, so if I go again, I will take my dog earlier in the morning.
