As a retired RV traveler with a 5 (going on 2) year old Goldendoodle who loves off leash parks, BringFido is a great resource for both of us.

Closed until November 9

4 bones for appearance and previous visits. Note that the city website does not note the closures - 11AM - 1PM Monday - Friday, for watering on one occasion, and roughly mid October to mid November for grass seeding. Nicely maintained and pretty good size park. On one prior visit we were the only ones there and on another one other dog & owner were pleasant.

Fun park for our dog.

Our dog loves to run on grass and the park is level for humans. Another dog made for some play time and the cattle trough allows dogs to cool. Bringing a towel is a good idea. There is a bench at each end of the park and picnic tables inside at the entry. The trash can and a portable toilet are outside the entry.

My dog loved running here

A great find in a small resort town. My Goldendoodle doesn't run at full speed in many parks but did here and had a great time. However, there's no place for humans to sit and very little shade.

Large & grassy, significant walk from parking

My dog enjoyed roaming the expanse of grass and there are dirt paths around the area for humans. The drive from parking lot to dog runs (3 separate) is locked off and the walk from closest parting is about 150 yards with no shade. Entry to the first 2 areas is double gated and they are signed for small and large (or all size) dogs. Waste bags appeared empty and trash can full. Not too far from the entry is a shaded bench and there are a few trees. I did not walk to the 3rd area.

A great park with Carol's directions

I found the park about 1.4 miles west of River Rd and noted GPS of 44.99704, -123.05524 at the entry drive. Parking and entry gates are at the far end. Lots of dogs in the large dog area today. All were fun to watch and did well together. Our dog loves to run on grass and he enjoyed great runs.
