Terrible experience
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Colorado Springs South APWe arrived late after being on the road for over 12 hours and just wanted to crash. The person at the front desk was not friendly at all and while we were there someone checked out and he said sorry to them. That was the first clue that this wasn’t going to be a great stay but we were all tired and wanted to just sleep. We get to the room and the second we walked in the door the room smelled of wet dog, the floors had stains and sticky spots. We didn’t really want to deal with it and since we were prepaid didn’t want to deal with trying to get a refund when we were dead tired so we just went to bed. The next morning we found a lot of things here and there that told us this hotel either has bad management or the staff just doesn’t care (or maybe both). Ripped curtains, hair dryer didn’t work, no shampoo or conditioner, hotel grounds were a mess with broken glass in the parking lot and graffiti on one of the walls, carpets not vacuumed in our room and hallways, elevator smelled like cigarettes and weed and the floor was sticky. the kids were looking forward to swimming but the pool wasn’t filled and gate to the pool was chained shut. I don’t really have anything good to say about this place except maybe that the included breakfast wasn’t terrible! Don’t bother with this place!

Friendly staff
Baymont by Wyndham Fort MorganOut of the way with no services around but a gas station and a steak house and the place is not aging well but the staff is friendly and the room was clean.

Pricey but great staff and location
Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel$50 per night for our pet and no breakfast. A bit pricey but the location is great just south of the South Gate of Grand Canyon and staff is very friendly!

Aarchway InnFriendly staff, great location! Nice dog run behind property. Very welcoming for our golden doodle.
