Awesome beer and food trucks!
Cannonball Creek Brewing CompanyGreat spot to stop for a beer and some food with your dog! You do have to check the website for what food truck is scheduled, but they have one pretty much daily!
Amazing park!
Prince Albert National ParkGreat trails with camping, fishing, boating also available! Super friendly rangers, abundant wildlife, and a great little town nearby.
Amazing coffee!

Better without pets
Billings Hotel & Convention CenterHot water in our room wouldn’t get hot. Also, the windows in the room only had blackout curtains and no shades, so it was a bit dark in the morning getting ready. We also weren’t sure if we found the pet relief area, which we expected to be right by the pet-friendly rooms. There is a small grassy strip right outside across the parking lot, and a larger grassy area through the fence at the edge of the parking lot. We just would have loved an enclosed leash-free area. Also, as great as the pool sounded, we couldn’t visit it with the dog or leave the dog in the room unattended. We totally understand the reasons for the rules, but it just means we missed out on the pool! I’d also just point out that although there were several close by restaurants, none are dog-friendly. Overall, we didn’t have a bad stay, but we’d try somewhere else next time.
