This is the only off leash area that I could find and it is fantastic. your dog can be off leash from 7 AM until 10 AM and after 4 PM if they are under voice control and you can keep them in sight. There are two parking areas at upper parking area at a lower parking area. The lower parking area provides a beautiful short, walk to a lake house where the dogs can go swim at a variety of points. There are lots of dogs that come here and if socialization is something you’re looking for you have a good chance of meeting new friends. The upper parking area is going to allow you a very good hike down to the lake. After traveling for three weeks with a 7month old puppy, and a three year-old and nine-year-old dog we needed a long safe hike to get the zoomies burned off. This is a wonderful hike. We will be visiting this area daily u til we move on.

This is a fabulous place to come with your kids and your pups. The children will appreciate the swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, and play area. Your pups will appreciate the gracious shaded dog park and lots of area to walk in. The staff could not be more accommodating. It has excellent Wi-Fi for those who still need to work online and the staff are wonderful. A great place to stop.

Defiantly Dog friendly but not very interesting. The music in the background is too loud where we stopped, leader has a very soft voice and needs a microphone, she was definitely knowledgeable about the subject, but we simply couldn’t hear anything. I would not do it again.

Great little campground has a nice dog yard. The attendants were very good at making sure my in-season girl was away from any other dogs. We were in the area to get her serviced. It is right by the highway so there is a road noise, but it is quiet enough to sleep comfortably. The campgrounds are well cared for, have a nice little playground, picnic area and a gathering room to hang out in. The bathrooms are old, but clean and well maintained with plenty of hot water and I will come back again next time we are in the area.

This campground has over 100 sites that are all dog friendly. It is primitive camping with 1 central spigot per camping loop and 1 set of toilets. There is one very nice wash house and miles of hiking trails. It is $30 a night for every site from tent to RV. Make sure that you pre-book, but there are first come first serve sites also available. We very much enjoy staying at this park and have been here many times over the last 30 years.

This is a nice clean tidy dog park that is not too far from the center of town. Met some lovely people there and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.
I truly enjoyed my stay at Grand Old RV Resort. It was clean, well cared for, the bathroom was very nice, my three large dogs were welcomed warmly and they did not have a problem with putting up our temporary fence, which is a big deal for me because I have a very little trailer and large dogs. I would be happy to stay here again. The only thing is it lacks a fenced and off-leash dog area.
