Entertaining Way to See Salem
Witch City Walking ToursThis was such an entertaining walking tour of Salem. Our group guide, Derek, was fantastic, engaging, and shared some interesting history and folklore, often with humor. I appreciated that this tour is dog-friendly and that Derek welcomed my dog.
We stopped by the Ropes Mansion where they filmed scenes from the movie, Hocus Pocus, with beautiful gardens. And, of course, the Salem Witch Trial Memorial. Derek shared context for how people might have lived during those times and how witches were "found" and persecuted, and offered guidance on additional opportunities to further explore the city after the tour.
Delicious food, delightful service
Liberty Tap Room & GrillI'm grateful that so many restaurants in Myrtle Beach are dog-friendly. The hostess greeted us, including my dog, and then escorted us to our patio table. Our server was a sweetheart, and the food was delicious.
