Me and my dog felt welcome

They were fantastic during check-in, and even gave my dog a treat after asking permission to do so! Lots of grassy areas for pet relief. Room was spacious and comfortable for the night, I can’t remember the last time I slept that well in a hotel! The breakfast bar was pretty good as well. I would definitely stay here with my dog again.

Candlewood Suites Winnemucca an IHG Hotel

Definitely a pet friendly room/hotel, and comfortable accommodations. 2 complaints that brought it down to 4 bones: (1) There is only a tiny patch of grass on site for pet relief - most of the landscaping is rocks. There is some dirt just across the parking lot that can be used, but it is DUSTY there. (2) The hotel uses swipe cards for room keys, and about 9/10 times it wouldn’t work correctly to open the outside door. The room door handles were a little finicky as well, partly due to the older technology I think. All things considered, if I ever need to stop in Winnemucca again, I would stay here again!
