Small campground

Three Rivers Hideaway

Has a cute little place to set up for the day on the water. For the price I felt like it was a good place to camp, I would come back. Places to walk the dog. Campsites are close to each other so if you have a yapper you may make enemies with the neighbor.

We loved it

Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter

We are committed to coming back to Solamar. It it just a beautiful place and in the heart of the downtown area. I felt completely safe bringing my dogs out to potty at 12am & 4:30am. Yes, the potty area was outside on the first floor- I did worry if the girls would make it down- but they did every time. Yes, you do have to walk across the street to the trash can or around the corner, which is fine; we usually go for a walk on potty breaks anyways so 20 more feet is not that big of deal. They allow the dogs at the pool bar which is nice. Plenty of dog friendly bars/restaurants nearby. They have the bell desk available to help with luggage/crates at the valet area which was a HUGE bonus and that alone was worth valet parking to save my husband all the trips to the car. I understand the $50 parking can scare people away, but I feel like that is a common practice nowadays. I was happy to pay it knowing I was in a safe part of town & was able to leave my dog when I needed to and was at peace. If you are contemplating, just stop. This IS the right place for you and Fido.
