There was a footprint with a giant smashed mosquito eater insect on the ceiling. The shower was not clean and had hairs all over it and there was a giant spider web over the door. We slept on top of the sheets because we didn’t trust the cleanliness. Arrived after sunset and had difficulty finding the main registration building which was not marked well. The man checking us in had BO and did not welcome me or even make me feel appreciated. We went to the cafe nearby for breakfast but overall thought there could have been more TLC. Obviously a very cool location but while my dog was welcome at the lodge we could not take her on the trail so we didn’t get to see much. 🤷🏻‍♀️
