Soft Bed But...
Econo Lodge Lafayette NorthReserved a king suite here two weeks before coming, and upon check in was told they didn’t have one but they could give us a different room. Got to the room they gave us and it smelled funny and half the lights didn’t work.

Good Location, Bad Hotel
Motel 6 Jennings LAMy husband and I stayed here one weekend with our dog. We checked in and were told we could do a late check out at noon the next day. Our room was clean, but did not include a refrigerator or microwave as most places do. We swam in the pool and noticed an awful odor coming from somewhere nearby. After our swim we showered and found that the towels in the room were stained or dirty. Later, we walked our dog, a little after dark, and he started rolling in something (Yes, he was on a leash). So we turned on our phone light and walked over to see what it was. There was some kind of dead animal in a grocery bag. Keep in mind this is in the grass near the pool! The smell was awful! After several baths were given to our dog, we went to bed. The bed slept nice and it was a quiet place. The next morning we left to sight see.. Remember that late check out I mentioned earlier? Well someone from the hotel called my cell about 11 asking why we hadn’t checked out yet, and I had to explain to her that we were told we had a late check out at noon. ... All in all, we had a nice weekend trip, but we will not stay here again.
